this quite an insightful write up but the people of Anlo needed a more detail and comprehensive historical chronicle of each succession from the time of the first awoamefia till date and the specific impact each of this monarchs brought to bear on the socio-cultural and economic lives of Anlos and all others elsewhere. l again wish to point out that we also have to employ the celebration of the Hogbeza to rally round the numerous high calibre human resource professionals we have to unleash the huge economic potentials we have in order to create wealth and prosperity for our people by tapping the tourist, agric, petrochemical and salt potential of our land. we have enough resources to do this even venturing into high precision and value addition and the services industries. we have to take our into our hands and we have requisite capacity to do this. its not always about having gold, cocoa or timber. its about our brains, think, think and think and doing. Resource strapped have Singapore have done it and we could do it well. This is imperative and a mandate to our people. we cannot and should not cede this to the politicians. Hogbeza should not only be a social and cultural platform for feeling 'we-ness' or sentimental about ourselves and trying to reconnect with the past, it should be a great platform to plan great things for our people and generations unborn. there lies our dignity and self-worth among the comity of other compatriots. we first have to create a an independent think tank and a commission to do this. Finally, the Anlo Traditional council need to have an active web site to start with...
