The court can overrule Chiefs decisions in our modern system, but you won't be acknowledged in the community. And Akan adage goes like,' If nobody crowns you a king, and you go for the stool. Then no one will serve you'. This is a clear example. The court may recognise you,but not the community which The Asantehene presides.

If we hold the Queen of England in high esteem, even though there are other royals from Scotland and Ireland, then we do the same for our King,even though there are many kings in Ghana.
