The late President Nkrumah remains popular in all 3 Regions for various historical reasons. The long standing General Secretary of NDC is from BA, the President is from the Northern Region and various Ministers of State & the founder of the Party are from the Volta Region.
I would be very surprised to find out that the main reasons why Ewes vote for NDC is because the founder of the Party hails from Volta Region or because of comments made by the late Victor Owusu.

Who cares about Victor Owusu? What Victor Owusu said 40 years ago is of no relevance to young Voltarians. They don't know of the circumstances and they don't just follow what their elders or other politicians tell them. They can think for themselves and they judge things according to today's realities.
Adofo also makes the mistake of thinking that Ewes are like Asantes whose calculations are determined by the money they can make. What the Asante person values is not necessarily what the Ewe man values most in his life. It is wrong to judge other people by your standards.
Adofo, leave Voltarians alone. They know who to vote for without your telling them. You can't sit down in London and tell Voltarians what is happening in their backyard. They know themselves and they make their own decisions.
