  The Police Service appears to have for lack of a better expression "too many chiefs and not enuff Indians"!! Why so many COPs DCOPs & ACOPs!! And what is all these director generals dis an dat!! What on earth is wrong with "director'!! Ghana people like post and title too much. I have a strong suspicion that most of these ranks and titles are just make believe paper pushing jobs with little responsibility, weeding them out would not harm and probably enhance efficiency!! What is the need for a DG of public affairs for example? How many directors work under a DG!! The chief ogbey of prosecutions under the AG is/was the Director of Public Prosecutions! As a senior public servant answerable to the AG he ranks as a COP so how the hell we have 12-15 COPs under the IGP. TAhis post inflation in our ou pic services is a symptom of " make we chop Ghana small" run amok.
