Why must anyone, educated or undereducated, be shivering in their boots or be looking in their rearview mirror for Dr. Bawumia? Is it because he is the greatest Ghanaian to come up since Ghanaians started obtaining classroom education? Is it because he is the best at manipulation and throwing shade at facts or because he is the best statistician Ghana ever saw?
One can make the claim that may be closer to the truth with all of its appalling innuendo that political parties have to face up to standing preferences for presidential candidates from below the northern belt that is biting at their heels. Dr. Bawumia is not a god and there's nothing economics he has said and or written about that noted economists have not sounded the alarm about before.
Since ages we have created demigods in Ghana but never learn from that very folly. We have acquiesced to the classroom educated and still marching in place without a foot forward yet we believe in a coming salvation someday from the class of educated politicians. Dr. Bawumia has not done anything in his hometown, his community or for the people in the north he is about to do for Ghana; like they say don't piss on my legs and tell me it's raining.

Most of you maybe are boot lickers only surviving on sycophancy and corruption.
Your mix up with words definitely points to your ignorance. You'll do yourself an awful lot of good when putting your words together to sit back reflect before doing so. What you wrote surely depict your lack of knowledge. Sorry that your kind have access to the internet to write or spew the rubbish you claim emanate from Dr Bawumia.
The article is clear on ability of the character of his write up. I entreat you to write a rejoinder to refute what is said of Dr Bawumia. Only then can you substantiate your claim as done in the article.
Think little minds.

We know and understand the issues our country faces, and when a political party through dogged partisanship is foisting a novice in the person of Bawumia upon the country, by inflating his credentials and aptitude then it behooves on fellow intellectuals to step in and educate the masses who in most cases are gullible and non discerning.

I couldn't agree with you more. As they say, in the country of the blind, the one eyed is the king. Isn't so true in the godforsaken country like Ghana? Ignorant Ghanaians blinded by stupid partisan politics is heralding Bawumia as a Messiah who has all the answers. But they forget that this Bawumia is riding the wave of his father's popularity in Ghanaian politics. His father, Mumuni Bawumia, was a pillar house in Ghana politics for a long time. It was his father who single-handedly installed Hilla Limann as President in 1979.
These fatheads in NPP or otherwise who are constantly bamboozling the nation with the demagogic Bawumia forget that it was through his father's influence that landed him the plum job in Bank of Ghana. Otherwise how could Bawumia become the deputy governor of Bank of Ghana - fresh from university and without experience. Despite padding his resume, he could not get a job on his own merit at African Development Bank, when he lost the job at Bank of Ghana, and why is that? It was JA Kufuor's influence that gave him a position in African Development Bank.
The whole practice of choosing a vice presidential candidate from the north stings to high heavens. It is undemocratic and stupid at best. Now the country is dealing with the corrupt and incompetent John Mahama who became President through this dastardly practice. Very soon, we are going to have another incompetent northern, Bawumia, thrust on us, given the age and health of Akuffo Addo. How stupid and callous a country can be.

You are blind of the very bigotry you're accusing others of? I feel sorry for your kind. Too bad. You lack decency! Are you envious of Bawumia? Poor you!
