What is acceptable in our democracy is that all those nursing presidential ambitions in the NPP party should sharpen their credentials further to prove to the party faithful and Ghanaians that they deserve to be presidents. Bawumia, whether nursing a presidential ambition or not, is one of the best choices NPP leadership has made, and that will go a long way to serving the party years after he has left the scene.
NPP will never accept the Orwellian, undemocratic communist system, which imposes one candidate on the party as it is being done in the NDC party. It will always be based on democratic survival of the fitters in the same way that Obama won his party's nomination in 2008.
