  Bokor, if you really care to know,there is no significance of "rabbit" whatsoever to Ghanaian politics because it is refered to the Trans Volta Togoland(TVT) Ewes who joined Ghana as refugees.

  Unfortunately, the Orwellian, undemocratic and one candidate contests used to be seen in the erstwhile Soviet Union has been forced on the NDC party again. After pushing out Mr. George Boateng violently and tagging him with insanity for daring to contest the slot with Mahama, the biggest patapaa has now been declared a candidate elect unopposed. The truth is, Mr. Mahama is undemocratic communist relic doing everything to cling to power, and I believe Ghanaians would not allow him to rig the elections again as he did in 2012

  In Akan folklore the rabbit is portrayed as one of the wisest and knowledgeable animals that most animals consult for advice on illness and general everyday issues. In other words it is stands an epitome of both healing and WISE COUNSELING. At the movement the Ghanaian economy is in comatose; there is nobody within the entire ndc fraternity knowledgeable enough to suggest any credible solution. By referring to the NPP press conference as 'rabbit press conference, isn't the president acknowledging the sense in the issues raised, albeit subtly. Considering the fact that the NPP is always accused by the ndc as AKAN, shouldn't mahama's reference to rabbit be construed in the sense that rabbit is portrayed in Akan folklore! After all one talks others in the language they understand best. Come again Dr. and I shall return.
