Hello guys, let's think. Anytime there is a voter registration exercise,party reps are present to check irregularities. At the last registration exercise no one from the camp of those making noise about of registration of minors and illegal residents/foreigners could detect it was happening or how it happened. So with what magic can they prevent that from happening. I strongly believe that they have a hidden agenda calling for all that nonsense. There will be no new voters register you have realized so far.Go ahead with plans in the absence of a new voters register.The Special Forces have been idle since their formation.

If NPP had won the last elections, we would not be hearing today that the register is Heavily Discreditable.
When one looks at the make up of those discrediting the register, i.e. NPP, supported by Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom (who formerly held a ministerial position in the last NPP administration) and Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings (whose hatred for the ruling party is at a high point that she will be glad to see it lose the next elections) one will not be surprised.
By throwing away the current register and compiling a new one, we will be giving the NPP an opportunity to bloat it to their advantage. However, if they eventually manufacture the Togolese register for us and we find any (credible) illegal entry, we will clean it up.
As at now, there is nothing wrong with the register because, just like the Supreme Court case, the complainants have not proven anything yet. They are only blowing hot air.

Clean the register in order to make systems like this one and others in Ghana better and mature so that they can take on challenges. Databases do not get mature by getting rid of them 'cause you don't like the outcome.
Much like an investigation, the data and fingerprints are saved so that all Ghanaians have to do is verify.
