Who pays for early childhood development centers in Ghana? Is the government, parents, a government subsidized program for parents and or private ownership and institutions? All the world bodies can drum support for the poor and mothers in the world and will not make a difference in the world and a Ghana that heard of property seeking democratic society that nothing else would do.
What was the 1966 coup about? Was it socialism, imprisonment of saboteurs and anarchist or hatred for unitary political party system? We can debate the merits of the '66 coup till dawn but the one thing clear is that a fool will stay foolish until he/she learn from past mistakes or from the mistakes of others. What are we in Ghana? The only things that have worked in Ghana and or have been bright spots for every government since 1966 have been social programs at the core of socialism. So can we afford to advocate for government paid socialist programs in a nation that wraps itself in democratic flags for show or to camouflage it's hypocrisy?
