It is important to note that Ghana's register was compiled in 2012 while Togo register was compiled in 2014. It is not all that easy to prove the names on Ghana register are all Togolese just because the same names appear on Togo register in 2014. It will require collaboration between the two countries to resolve the issue that might include identifying the individuals and interviewing them.
NPP should have involve the EC rather than playing politics with the issue by demanding a new register without proper evidence of their claims.

And this from a former deputy governor of the Bank of Ghana who wants to be taken seriously.

Dr Kwame Okoampa-Ahoofe, we're yet to see NPP's evidence. The said Togolese Voters' Register in NPP's possession represents an important piece of evidence and we really want to see it. For there to be a thorough investigation, it is particularly important for the NPP to present its documents and evidence for scrutiny and verification by the Electoral Commissions of Ghana and Togo.
Not long ago, the Team-Bawumia[team of experts] held a press conference, displayed some Voter IDs, samples of Togo's Voters' Register and publicly flogged Ghana's EC for its alleged complicity. So the question is why is the NPP-Team Bawumia delaying the presentation of evidence? Moreover, why do the NPP-Team Bawumia want the Ghanaian public and the international community to believe their claim in absence of hard evidence?
It would be very embarrassing to NPP and particularly Dr Bawumia if the party fails to presents its evidence or perhaps if the claims turn out to be bogus. At the moment, Dr Bawumia's integrity and credibility is on the line. Politically, he'll be destroyed.
Dr Okoampa-Ahoofe, you don't really sound confident here about NPP's claims, "Mrs. Osei should also be reasonable enough to meet Team Bawumia halfway......? What? That's funny! After Team Bawumia revealed to the world it had the most damning evidence of 'migratory' Togolese voters? "HALFWAY"? Do you mean between NPP's 'midfield' of fact and fantasy? I can't for a moment think this will happen. After all, Mrs. Charlotte Osei is not sympathetic to NPP.

Here are simple questiond for you Dr. Kwame Okoampa-Ahoofe. Are you a registered voter anywhere in the USA? Are you a registered voter anywhere in Ghana? Do laws in Ghana permit your registration in Ghana knowing you are a resident and citizen of the USA? If you are currently not a registered voter in the USA and or Ghana would it be a result of prohibitive laws in either nations? If you are a registered voter in both USA and Ghana should your name be listed as one of names Dr. Bawumia and his team submits to the EC as evidence of bloated registry? Why should the issue of double registration not be inclusive of those in Europe and the Americas but only African nations?
There is no question in my mind that most in the NPP are full of self hatred and harbor the black inferiority complex for no one with any amount of pride, dignity and logical thought processing would accept standards in industrialized nations as norms but question the honesty and integrity of exact same system and process in Africa without reservation.

NPP's Absurdity... We wrote that the pictures of the alleged Togolese on both Togo and Ghana voter registers are all males. That makes it look like there are no females in Togo. Since some Ghanaians are Ewhes and the same applies to Togo it means that Ewhes in both countries will have, even the same sir name, and personal names. For instance for common Ewhe sir names like Agbo, Edor, Egame, Amenyo, Agbenyo, among others. The same applies to personal names as it applies to countries in which English is spoken, thus people have the same sir name and personal names, like Awumi, Amedro, Selom, Senyo, Kwame, Kwaku, among others.
Mahmudu Bawumia does not know that Ewhes like in Ghana, Togo, Benin and Nigeria, thus he was of the view that if there are Ewhes nationals of other West African countries thy should grow horns or tails.
