I have few concerns about this well written article. The first is that the article is too long. Gabby could have made it a two-part article. My second concern is when did Gabby realise all these? As a leading member of his party did he articulate his concerns as we read here to the panel who represented his Party before they had their turn? We all need a good, reliable register and I wonder why Gabby has sat on this information until now. It is one thing having a knowledge about something but it is equally important sharing that knowledge with the right people at the right time. Gabby, you scored zero in the latter. How many Ghanaians will even read this or Gabby are you now lacing your football boots after the last whistle has been blown? Or you are trying to get your bucket for the rain water after the downpour? When people accuse the NPP of book long this is it. You guys are at of touch with the ordinary man in the street. If we accept this fact then we also must know our sacrifice of a few million lives will ensure the total annihilation of all enemies of the Akan nation. People now know that the so called coup of Rawlings was nothing but as in all things a Ayigbe tribal war against the Akans camouflaged by the bullshit of a revolution against corruption. It is now clear why the intelligentsia of the Akans especially the Fantis was under the cover of darkness , false accusations and unfair prosecutions driven out of the country or killed or tortured so much so that they empty shells with broken spirits. Yes we see how even the cowardly brother of Mills react to the murder of a sitting Akan prince . We learn from history how the Nazi criminals were able to secure the assistance of the Jews in Warsaw to kill and oppress their own people and today we see the same in the likes of Gen Mosquito , and a few other glorified idiot ministers serving in this pepeni/ayigbe govt today. Our people have been instructed to exercise patience so with this new bio-metric registration we will know who exactly our traitors are as no Akan will vote for them except the backstabbing criminals amongst us. We shall never be the slaves and servants of their islamised boko harem Ghana but we shall fight in the hills and valleys and never surrender. We have many men of achievement even global fame such as Kofi Annan who by the way can never be invited to be president because of the anti Akan agenda , yet JJ masquerades around because he is the hero who the ayigbe consider to have cunningly defeated the Akans . Now he and his henchmen prepare the final sakawa scam to ensure poverty and misery for the Akans . He has enstooled pepeni omanhene mahama who goes to the UN to fight for Muslims and Palestinian rights instead of encouraging investments and good relations with our natural allies since Vasco De Gama in the west.We now see the NPP in futile attempt to clean house of all traitors but its already too late as that party has been infiltrated and infested so much so that its now an impossible feat. NDC has never accepted that there was any mistake in the voters' register. In fact, they said it was clean, credible and ready for use in the 2016 elections. Now, and after the stakeholders' overwhelming agreement that there are flaws in the register, and the proofs presented by the NPP that the register is actually bloated and tainted with all kinds of flaws, NDC can no longer cling to those malicious denials. Instead, they are now calling for cosmetic changes to be made to the register that would still allow them to rig the elections without tears.

The NPP had a perfect platform at the Public Forum to make a convincing case and arguments for a New Voter Register but largely failed. I don't know whether this is due to incompetence or stage fight.

There is no amount of audits that will save any voter registry anywhere in the world; it is not true in the USA, Canada, UK and other nations that are sources of delusional ideals in Ghana. There are natural events that take place each day that are beyond our powers. There are new births and deaths and there is the human actibit of relocation and migration. Where is Ghana's centralized death registry, birth registry or migration registry? So how do we remove the dead from existing voter roles? Will we be justified in removing names of those who leave Ghana off our voter registry if our rather liberal definition of Ghanaian citizenship rules? So you see Gabby and all the yahoo's out there who pretend there is some perfect voter registry out there I say think again. We may have to purge voter registry rolls annually but only if we have a centralized database accessible to all those agencies and organizations on demand for verification when needed. Guess what Gabby, the NPP, and all who want to join the folly train it's not going to go down as easy and cost free as you want. Open up your purses, empty out your pockets and pull out the checkbooks there is nothing free in life.
