Hmmm my brother, before a pilgrim move to hajj village it means their flight is ready that day or the following day,but hajj board will call you to stay in hajj village for days without going no where but you will pay 1ghc and charge your phone and buy a cup of tea for 5 ghc from the wives of the hajj board.go there and see where the pilgrims sleep.infact is terrible. The pilgrims were to to eat free meals for 4 days in madina even a bottle of water did not go to a single pilgrim. Even hotel rooms distribution was based on friends and families of hajj board. Infact ,after the the stampede at mina ,the hajj board seem relaxed till they missed their friend before they start talking even they were given a false statement to ghanaian at home. The hajj board charged every pilgrim 20 riyals as baggage handling fee and 20 riyals for every excess kilos.some pay as much as 100 dollars and more. More over the buses they hired for ghanaian pilgrims were older n cheap buses .some of the hotels were unused hotel and lacks water and light some times .indeed they have no sympathy for the aged. GhanaIan pilgrims were left at their own without any leader but kudos to one malam Saeed and one malam nuhu jihad who came on their own but make sure they will help the pilgrim in rain or shine .infact there are many stored to tell.
