    They will be same in the local languages, written in the ALPHABETS of the local languages.

    Ask any Indian friend who can read and write HINDI and you will know.

    If GHA want it changed to local language then they contact us Phoenicians and linguists this would be solved no big deal. Those who are one- legged in linguistics, should at least hold their horses .

    The meaning of pump in dagbani is pirigu
    Pump if it's verb to pump sth it's piri, eg. mborimi ni n piri ta ya.

    Lil,why do you pic such big words. All the same all can be invented. We have borrowed words it can be borrowed and sound locally. Eg. Hair conditioner can be borrowed to sound in Dagbani as- a kon di si na. It can be.
