I would like to watch this film not because I am not aware of this point of view. In fact this review reminds me of the movie,"Duck you Sucker" which I am sure some who live in America are familiar with. These movies portray a worldview that undermines our value, but I dare say it is probably more about self preservation.

thanks for your comment Asiwomw, I have included a trailer to the film at the bottom of this comment. The co-producer Kwame Boadi told me they are looking to get it released in the UK - if you are from here. But the plan is to get it screened in Ghana around Easter 2016 and around half of the countries on the African continent thereafter....if you live in Holland there is a screening at the Noordelijk Film Festival 11-15 November in Leeuwarden. I believe more will follow

Certainly, this is a movie, but making movies about our past & our present might not be as helpful as making movies about our likely futures. Why not a movie about Ghana in the year 2020 ?

With due respect, the Bible is more than two thousand years old, and Humanism is based on Greek philosophy. We don't have a future unless we let the past inform us.

But I agree it is important to know our past to know where we are and where we are going ... So I see a lot of more positive mileage coming out of this film if Kwame decides to tell it from the Ghanaian perspective
