I shall be grateful if this idea of establishing Ghana Police University will come to a successful past.I wish to suggest that admission should not be limited to the Police Service only but it must be extended to other professionals as well.For instance professonals such as teachers and nurses could be permitted to offer relevant programmes and be commissioned under education and health units respectively.And since it will include such professionals,the age limit could be 40years at most.

In addition to the Police University, universities must be built for the Army, Farmers, Fishermen, Drivers, Nursing, Doctors, Waste Management, Drainage, Pilots, Textiles, Athletics, Soccer and Boxing. Every branch of human activity and enterprise must have its university.We no longer need university departments these days.

Tweaaa, even the Brits and other "rich" countries do NOT have "Police University".
Just UPGRADE the training at Winneba with

Do we need a Police University? Can't the causes be taught at an upgraded Police College? Can't special courses be be taught at a specially created Faculties in one or two existing and Universities accredited with courses? An ... read full comment
