Fellow Ghanaians,
On your first reading, this article would arrest and engross. But on a second inspection, the reader recognizes that the deeper and most consistent response the writer, an old Hippie elicites is no more than a sauna-like self-pity, and that the specific effects are rather frequently too outre' for genuine resonance.
Fellow Ghanaians,
Sarpong, the Cardinal of truth is nothing more than a redomont who is a blatantly boastful individual with a procrustean determination to force our minds to accept his flippancy and ad hominem style and insults on Mahama.
Sarpong, you are an overweening old fool.

Lookup the definition of congenital hypocrite and you will find your name, Justice Sarpong and every other name on the card carrying NPP and NDC membership here in Ghana but even more so of those in the Diaspora. We did not get where we are in Ghana being principled and moral; we got there by hypocrites the likes of you, Justice Sarpong, whose iris are colored by tribe and political party loyalties thereby limiting the ability, if ever there was one, to know right from wrong. If you live in the Houston area of Texas, Justice Sarpong, and not blinded you should know that Texas legislators in Austin Texas do enact laws to sustain and fund schemes the Republican party in Texas care about since the State of Texas has a Republican majority in both houses and a Governor to boot. So tell me where Kufour and or the NPP had the appropriate funding mechanisms in legislation to fund NHIS, School feeding program, GYEEDA and all other scheme initiated by the NPP Kufour administration?
Furthermore why and what did we go through the 1966 coup for? Was it to be free to be beggars? Was it for the freedoms to take flight out of Ghana to any corner of the world but Ghana? Where can one find a street flowing with milk and honey promised? The true and genuine hypocrites are those of you, mostly in the Diaspora, who are full of it you refuse to learn why and how governments work in ideal nations of the world instead of tribal and party politics getting in the way of development in Ghana. Do you, Justice Sarpong, not see yourself as a classic hypocrite if you expect the living in Ghana to suffer while you enjoy life somewhere but fail to come home to help make Ghana what it is you think you can contribute but throw stones and shade from afar?

What has this issue got to do with President Kufuor NHIS and school feeding programs? What do you have against Asantes?
One gets the feeling reading your diatribe that you are a tribal bigot.

As the bible says God will judge people according to their deeds but not by words. Ghanaians let us judge Mahama according to his deeds. Propaganda can't change economic variables
