For me, this is not a matter of committee here, committe there.Apart from the video being enough for any action to be taken against them, one of the judges admitted accepting bribe.
Look, this is a very serious issue that needs no child's play in handling it nor sympathy of any kind.
the actions and inactions of these judges have sent some Ghanaians into their early graves, leaving their family behind with immense suffering. There should be any further investigation;in fact,it was not necessary in the first place to investigate this issue,in my opinion, and i believe strongly, about 90% of Ghanaians are of the same opinion.
THEY SHOULD BE IN THEIR GRAVES BY NOW.
I am equally buffled as to what and how are agencies charged to pull out these heartless and deviants, are going about their duties? There are so many easy clues available for these agents to hold on and start investigating these public officials-their style of living vis-a-vis their salary earnings! this alone is enough to investigate them. With this Anas revelation, and what you(Dr) rightly indicated, every single judge in Ghana here,MUST be investigated. In fact, the judges should be subjected to military scrutiny by the military and not the police nor the courts.
To win the confidence of the public in our judicial/justice system, the first thing to be done is to let these judges caught in Anas Video to FACE FIRING SQUARD; and the second, investigate every single judge in the country and findings, publish for all Ghanaians to read.
DO NOT SYMPATISE WITH THEM;THEY HAVE KILLED MANY PEOPLE THAN YOU CAN THINK OF ,BY THEIR ACTIONS AND INACTIONS

I thought I was going to read an article that says something NEW about this case. All the points this writer raised have already been discussed long over.
It is not true, as the writer stated, that some people are defending the justices. I don't think there's a Ghanaian who thinks the justices are innocent of the charge of getting bribes or that it is good for them to do so.
What is dividing Ghanaians is whether the justices' privacy has not been violated and what legalities are involved in that and if Anas did not use legally and morally wrong methods in obtaining his evidence. The argument is both moral and legal and it has not yet been resolved.
As for whether a bribe getting judiciary is bad or not for our devt and that the justices should be punished, etc. are things we are all agreed on. We are all also agreed on the fact that there should be some overhaul of the judiciary and, perhaps, some review of past cases. These aspects are not dividing Ghanaians. We may differ on the extent of punishment or reforms but we are agreed that such things should take place.
But Ghanaians are not agreed on whether private citizens should be prying into people's private lives and testing them through dissembling ways that make them commit crimes so that they can obtain evidence of wrongdoing. We are not agreed on whether Anas is culpable of the offence of trying to, and succeeding, in influencing a public official in the proper performance of his public duties.
