Many of us believe these judges and all others are corrupt and we have either suffered directly or indirectly as a result of the corruption of these judges but we cannot say because we don't like them we should support the wrong this Anas has done.
There is nowhere in this world except in Ghana by this guy where somebody went to pay money to get out criminals from prison, rather they make sure they get the person taking the bribe or breaking the law in the act, that is how they arrest people and use whatever they were taking as evidence in court, you don't give drugs to people and watch them to use it before you report them or arrest them, you don't watch people have sex with prostitutes before you arrest them while investigating them if they are prostitutes or not.
The most outrageous thing ever done in the name of investigation is what this guy did.

Corney, learn how to write correctly with a good grammar and good punctuation, then you can try again to make yourself relevant.
You don't know what societal values are; you don't know what principles are for those who call themselves judges, and I am not yet talking about ethics of the work they profess to undertake under oath.
Anas is investigative journalist and employs the same means people employ in real to keep bribing the judges or the judges keep obstructing justice by inviting bribes. ONLY, Anas is not doing it for real!
There is actually no other way for anyone to entice the judges to error. They have their ugly penchants to blame. This is what happens when people in charge of the law in Ghana decide to circumvent the law using selfish means.
We have posterity to defend, we have a nation to build. Those who should be at the forefront shouldn't be those destroying everything before the policies about the development is even depicted in blueprint.
Personally, shed no tears for those judges. If I were a militart leader, I would have them shot for treason, and probably have them short several times more.
Do you know how it feels, to have God give you everything in life to be great and finding yourself having nothing in spite of those things because others steal everything and can't even be indicted because judges trivialize everything.
Have you every counted, Corney, the resources we have, with the abundant rainfall and good climate, yet still we can't find a way out because everyone is corrupt.
Denmark, Sweden, Belgium, England, Frace, in fact, all those countries in Europe don't have what we have as resources.
Corney, we don't need your weird illogical views. No one builds a nation on sentiments.

We keep complaining of corruption and the answer we hear is, where is the evidence. How do we present the evidence if a method like this is not adopted? If you are a judge, how will you act if someone approaches you with money trying to buy your conscience?

Go Burn the Sea if you do not like Anas' methods. Desperate times call for desperate action, and if the bedrock of our fledgling democracy, and something as sacred as justice can be sold at the market place to the highest bidder, then in my view the end justifies the means.
If the corrupt John Mahama and his NDC morons are bent on uprooting corruption in Ghana, this would be a perfect opportunity to do so. When a western nation sense a threat to the foundation of its democracy, they declare a state of emergency; suspend the constitution, and deal with the threat. This is a complete threat of our democracy and if I were Mahama, I would declare a state of emergency and deal with this corrupt judges.
Do not lose sight of the fact that it is the Ghanaian tax payer who pays this corrupt judges. and we can use any method, fair and foul, to uproot the bad apples in our justice system. If you ask me, Anas is a hero and the country must honour him for his bravely.

You should be ashamed for endorsing slave trade, colonialism and neo-colonialism in 2015. In fact, I presume you to be so corrupt and a bribe taker that you can't hide your pain of not being able to solicit a bribe after writing this article but remmember, much as you and your judges are addicted to bribery, your days are really numbered and you will soon seek death instead of your impending shame. Here is the thing, as long as it is the taxpayer who pays these corrupt judges, then I would say the end justifies the means. The taxpayer can choose any method to nab these corrupt judges, and it is alright with me. When something as fundamental as justice is threatened, it is alright to use 'crude' methods to uproot it.
Many civilized societies would declare a state of emergency when the story came out to deal with it, but stupid Mahama who himself is corrupt has not said a word. Ghana is a rotten society and it is for use to use any method fair or foul to do something about it. There is rule of law in your white friend's country - no judge dares take bribe, and if they take bribe and they are caught you will be sure the laws would deal drastically with them.

Ghana is a funny nation ! Look at this, because the most learned are affected this time around, they are finding every possible means to speak against the good work of Anas Aremeyaw Anas !!! They are using every possible means to throw the good work of Anas Aremeyaw Anas over board by buying some of the media guys to write all sort of articles to favour them because they feel so special and superior to CUSTOM, the DVLA among others that Anas investigated sometime ago. I dare continue to say that no one is perfect but Anas has been sent by God Almighty to help us put our house in order. Ghana continues to sink down the drain upon all the blessings God Almighty has poured upon us due to selfishness, corrupt people at the helm of affairs, lies, hatred, backbiting, bitterness, occultism, idolatry, envy, witchcraft among others. How can Ghana develop when we tend to depend on short cuts to achieve greatness ? USING THE MEDIA TO FIGHT THE GOOD WORK OF ANAS WON'T WORK BECAUSE EVEN AN UNBORN CHILD IN THE WOMB KNOWS THAT GHANA HAS ROTTENED.

It's very interesting to note that you are a development expert yet see everything wrong with the methods used by Anas to expose the corrupt judges but nothing wrong with the despicable and criminal behaviour of the same. Sadly, the two attorneys you relied on are as bankrupt as the judges themselves when it comes to the law on matters of privacy and entrapment. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the methods used by Anas to expose the judges as well as the public showing of the video evidence because case law in Ghana is that an application for injunction is not effective on being served but only when ordered by a court of competent jurisdiction (Court of Appeal, 2006). Get a life.

Sister Souljah, the answer to your question is no. Anas became aware that there were corrupt judges in Ghana so he set out to expose them. Moreover, the judiciary itself when accused of being corrupt, challenged the public to provide the evidence. What Anas did was the response to providing the evidence.
Most important, what Anas did was in the public interest and for that alone, it is against the same public interest to prosecute Anas. In fact, Anas did not offer bribe to the judges so he has not committed any crime, let alone be prosecuted.
Finally but just a minor case, Anas did not benefit directly from his investigations, though he may benefit by selling the video to others. However, that was not his main objective. In fact, Anas spent a lot of resources and time, including putting his life at risk to produce the evidence. Any subsequent gains will be more or less cost recovery.

Lawyers and lay people who are attacking Anas either on his tactics or motives should just sit back and look at the big picture. Judges caught up in this saga are ethically challenged and there's no doubt about it. Judges are not supposed to discuss a case coming before them or before them unless the prosecutor and defense initiated the discussion and are both present or the discussion of a case is between a judge and a peer to seek advice and help with case law.
These judges, most of them anyways, chose to discuss a case before them with a party whose only interest was not justice or fairness but to skew justice. There can be no entrapment or ill motive by Anas towards these judges it they knowingly accepted an invitation to meet and discuss a case with a party that did not present himself as a lawyer or legal representative of a defendant. Furthermore judges beyond reproach would not meet anywhere else but in their chambers to discuss or review cases if there was ever an intent to be above board.

So, what is behind the organizing title: "The Chief Imam and Ghanaian pilgrims are safe in Mecca!"?
We will hazard that the 27 Sep article treated some of the pilgrims (missing) as if they do not matter, because they were not leaders, or that sort.
What about this:
"Chief Iman Safe, 5 Pilgrims Missing".
Seems to me that, or another version, would have been more accurate for the "SENIOR EXPERIENCED WRITER".
Still, staying on topic, "Anas’s ‘modus operandi’ is wrong period!," is not critical enough.
ITEM: There is no reasonable basis in law, custom, or rational thought to support that statement/conclusion.
Thanks.

NOBODY should support the judges' actions. They cannot be defended under any circumstances!!!

Whistle Blowers Act Approved
Whistleblower
Cabinet has given approval for the enactment of a Whistle Blowers Act to encourage people with information on corruption to report to the appropriate agencies for the law to take its cause.
The Attorney-General and Minister for Justice, Papa Owusu Ankomah, disclosed this at Sekondi in the Western Region. He was addressing the Sekondi Youth Congress of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
A Whistle Blower is someone who tells people in authority or public about dishonest or illegal practices in business and government. The passage of the Whistle Blower’s Act by Parliament will be the fulfillment of yet another promise by the government.
The government on assumption of office promised a zero tolerance for corruption and assured that it would set up an accountability office at the office of the President which has already been realized. In addition it assured that it will table before Parliament a Whistle Blowers Act to encourage people to volunteer information on corruption practices
