The phrase 'enemy combatant' is used figuratively in the context of a discursive war between the NPP and its opponents, which is essentially the very character of the adversarial democratic competition we have adopted.
Secondly, Arthur K is telling us that criticism amounts to vilification, in which case he is suggesting that has been on a campaign of vilification against Nana Addo. His own logic justifies Ohemeng's contention that he should be treated as 'enemy combatant'.

When Donald Rumsfield first used that term, he did not only mean those who were firing missiles and AK47s on the battlefield. He included those who through their speeches, writings and research fanned terrorism against America.
Eighteen people competed for the NPP Flagbearership position in 2007. Of the losing seventeen, only you and Alan Kyeremanteng directly or indirectly continue to be pests not only on the legitimate winner but the NPP as as a whole This time around Nana Akufo-Addo was elected by more than 80% of the over 900,000 delegates that voted in the election. Those who lost that election are either quietly working in the background for the NPP and its flagbearer or at least no muddying the waters!
There is something called “group solidarity;” even animals have it. When geese fly in a column, there is one leader who flies ahead of everybody, with two “assistants” closely behind him. When it gets tired, one of the “assistants” takes over. If one of the members of the group gets sick, one member drops out with the sick bird, finds a crevice in a rock or tree, to nurse it. If the sick bird recovers, they re-join the group. If it dies, the surviving bird buries it away from prying eyes, and re-joins the group.
Your list of the litany of ills that leftist governments have perpetrated on the people of Ghana are the kinds of issues the NPP has been fighting against, and those are the battles that your interviews and writings always try to put the sledge hammer into. Frankly, I personally do not understand why the NPP Council of Elders has not suspended you and another fat doctor Nyaho Tamakloe, to shut you up, just like they did with Wereko-Brobby and Kwame Pianim!
In America where you live, decent Democrats and Republicans do not constantly write and make speeches aimed at bringing down their own parties. If you wish to see a resurgent NPP in 2016, pass your concerns through the appropriate channels, not on the airwaves. At this point all “prominent” members of the NPP should be singing from the same hymn sheet, not discordant noises.
More than anything else, one issue that can potentially destabilise Ghana in 2016 is the criminally over-bloated voters’ register. People have lost companies and livelihoods as a result of the corruption, incompetence and sheer ineptitude of Mahama’s rogue government. Most Ghanaians are not going to sit tamely for Togolese, Burkinabes and Ivorians to foist another four years of hardship on them. That is why some people have decided to respond to illogical effusions whichever quarter they come from!
