This is good challenge to the Founding Dean of the UCC Faculty of Law. But this parent should also know that UCC is full of dictator heads who help in shutting up dissent. There are many such characters in UCC, causing confusion among students and lecturers. Mr Coomson of the UCC Distance Education programme, another founding Director, was a dictator until he left for retirement.
No wonder the students refer to UCC as University of Constant Confusion.

Yea, the writer couldn't write good english, but it is possible a private lawyer who has had issues with this dean decided to tarnish his reputation to show where power lies. A true parent concerned about his son's education would have used a better channel rather than a news page for this. Towards the end of the article, the author gave himself away because he sounded more about vengeance than about his son's educational welfare.

Don't you know that persons without at least a researched masters can not teach in the university. How many of these Cape Coast lawyers have a masters let alone a Ph.D which is a prerequisite for university teaching. Hope what the dean did to you was bad enough to warrant you shooting yourself in the foot

It is the University that ultimately hires. Over the past years several qualified persons have been interviewed and recommendations have been made to the University for them to be hired. To date, none of them has been hired. Please know your facts.

When someone has a concern, however illegitimate it might seem to others, the best way to seek redress is to speak about it openly.
only this way can he know if his fear is founded on solid Intel or is baseless.
Nevertheless, if there is any truth or its distance cousin to this concern then he is right to have voiced out his concern considering the fact that he, his son and other parents of other students are investing their fortunes into this Program.
And the future students who would read this article would find that it is a cause for concern if anything this writer has written is true.
I humbly ask that those of you who are well informed on this issue to please find the time to educate those of us who are not.
Because through accurate information comes accurate understanding and through that understanding will come sound judgment.
I hope I am not asking for too much when I say somebody please address the elephant in the room without further bloodshed.
