If Ewes could be foundin their numbers in the various establishments you mentioned, - and I can tell you that they are everywhere - it is by their dint of hardwork. They are not lazy like you neither do they want nor passed through any short-cut.

The constitution did not forbid people from voting because of where they lived otherwise you Adofo Rockson and all the other foreigners masquerading as Ghanaians but living on the outside could not claim to have rights while you call into question the rights of others who live outside Ghana on the African continent.

When we pronounce the word egbe it involves Adas, Ewhes, Ghas and Krobos the tribes in which that word have a real meaning. Gbeme in Gha means animal that speak and can be understood, meaning beings. It is a fact that the Egbe people originated from the current Nigeria, traveled through Dahome, Togo and settled in the valley. Still there are Ada, Ewhe, Gha and Krobo settlements in those countries their forefathers settled. The settlements of Ewhes is from Ada in the Greater Accra Region to Gbadagli in Nigeria.
The New Patriotic Party is either scheming or is ignorant. But since there are intellectuals in that party, including Mahmudu Bawumia the matter settles on scheming. The world linguistic map shows that Ewhe is spoken in Ghana, Togo, Benin and Nigeria in West Africa. Thus Mr. Rockson Adofo must understand that Ewhes do not live only in Ghana and Togo. Thus it is out of mischief or ignorance that NPP is alleging that Togolese Ewhes registered to vote in Ghana that it is only Togolese Ewhes who have vested interest in elections in Ghana. We have not heard Igbos, Hawusas and Fulanis making the claim of Ewhes in Benin registering to vote in Nigerian elections, meaning that there are "adults" in the various political parties in Nigeria. It is a fact that some members of the NDC and NPP are dual citizens who vote in Ghana and other countries. Emanating from the above any Togolese national who is a dual citizen of Ghana have the right to register as a voter and vote in Ghana. The former president of Georgia is now a citizen of Ukraine and that country's president is as well a citizen of the U.S.
NPP has been campaigning for Ghanaians living abroad to vote in Ghana's elections and from what Rockson Adofo and NPP are saying it seems to mean that a Ghanaian living abroad can vote in elections in Ghana only if he or she has an Akan name. One of my great granduncles took the name Onipa and his son's name was Edu Kofi. So Onipa's grand children in Nigeria will vote in elections in Ghana because it is assumed that they came from a country which citizens are not Ewhes, but the Onipas in Togo can not vote in Ghana elections because they have the misfortune of living in Togo.
