Dismantling CPP era centralized urban and rural planning and development scheme was undertaken to spite Nkrumah by the very factions in Ghana which gave us a chaotic and ungovernable Ghana we have today. Assigning power at local enclaves gave rise to bullies and corrupt practices of political money influences which we see today. By design the architects for the overthrow of Nkrumah counted on money to do serious damages to our political system where the rich families in the NPP would buy their way to political power they otherwise could not under a one party system.
Today we have transplanted people in every region and constituency in Ghana buying votes when they do not give a darn about local developments but loyalty to party puppet masters. There are DCE and MCE's who are not birthed in the areas they pretend to represent but do in the name of political party money influences. George Boateng got to where he was by money influence and may be seeking to contest the NDC presidential nominations by design from his tribal and pupoet masters. Which tribe could one find the name Boateng? Which district does George Boateng represent? And which tribe does Nana Kunadu Agyeman Rawlings proudly represent? Why did George Boateng not obtain a signed NDC presidential bid form from the NDC general secretary as prescribed by the party but from an NDC employee without the authority to issue a bid form and may have been influenced by money?
Destroying all that is good about Ghana because they were Nkrumah initiatives or CPP era advances is, has been and will destroy Ghana at the hands of those hell bent on their delusional tribal or intellectual superiority. George Boateng is a plant and a political hack of the tribal kind who has made it via the distorted decentralized urban and rural planning and development scheme where money buys power at local communities.

The political fall out as a result of the circus that man will create will damage the ndc.His policy statement to congress will include making cannabis Ghana's main export and will use the platform to make all sort of accusation and allegation against the party.
He also claims he will make Akuffo Addo his running mate and Nana Konadu his chief adviser in complete disregard to the parties constitution.
The political fallout arising from giving a platform to someone as unstable as Boateng will be a dereliction of duty by the leadership and so they have all the right to be concerned.
One can recognize a deranged and so I am not surprised that he is to undergo a psychiatrist test.

It is very funny but in Ghana, we take these well established institutions that have worked flawlessly in many countries and we make a mockery of them. It is the main reason nothing seems to work in that godforsaken country.

We boast that our country is democratic, yet these fools in government who are supposed to be the custodians of a system that has put them in power, are the same fools who are poking their noses at it. Then they turn around and say, foreign institutions are not conducive to Ghana's culture. Unbelievable!!!

for a person the "caliber" of George to openly decide to challenge the sitting president alone, is a huge indictment on the president.
remember "we no go sit down . . . "
this is a revolution in the making
