Zoomlion, of course, knows what it is doing, Ms Ohene. It is making sure that in case there are investigations/ prosecutions regarding GYEEDA and some of its other opaque deals with the Govt of Ghana, the personnel of the Police assigned to the task will remember that their OWN BOSSES are the friends of Zoomlion!
For how can police officers intelligent enough to be assigned to the investigation of corruption cases not be able to INFER -- to say the least -- that the people they are investigating are influential people who have seriously close contacts with the bosses who assigned them to investigate them? Even commissions of enquiry depend on the police to provide them with information, don't they?
Thank you, Elizabeth, for exposing this most dirty of dirty practices. In countries like Brazil and Mexico, the police are the first line of corruption, operating in league with companies, and sometimes operating as killer squads, in furtherance of corruption. AND DRUG DEALS.
Mahama and his cohorts are taking Ghana far. Very far indeed.

I fully support you madam. The questions you raised are going on and everyone is pretending it's normal. The government and Ghanaians in general should not allow any private organisation to donate to the police and the judicial service. How can the police and the judicial services provide a fair service to a citizen against any of these so call "benevolent" institutions.

And let no one tell me anything about putting a good company down. They took money that they have not worked for on a grand scale. That is theft by fraud.

How can a sensitive institution like the Police be corrupted by a private business.
Will the Police be fair and deal with the business fairly and honestly when they cross the line . Ghana is a joke country
