Yes Carbon monoxide is a silent killer so installing cm detector can save life
Also there is the issue of asphyxiation when someone is exposed to too much toxic smoke either from Generator set or fire which cld cause death due to lack of oxygen.and excessive heat from the fire
As u advised we should always make sure we put generator in a well ventilated place and seperate from combustible materials or flammable liquids such as fuel to power the generator to avoid fire risk
