  A military guy with questionable 'expertise' believes that 'Ghana should be governed with an iron fist' and you think that it's a great idea for development. Perhaps, I'm not grasping the theme of your thread. How do you govern with an iron fist? Are you in favour of dictatorship? Is this the sort of nation you want to live in? We've tried that before under military rule and it was shambles. Most of the developed nations got to where they are now by:
  Investing in quality education - puts emphasis on sciences, technology, engineering and maths alongside the humanities.
  Appointing the best based on merit - skills and not by religious or political affiliations.
  Attempting to root out corruption in the public sector by paying workers a decent wage and leading by example.
  Treating religion for what it really is - a private good, in some cases a fiction not a fact rather than the status quo.
