In any civilized democratic country, the Minister of Interior or the police Chief would have already left office by now because they failed Ghanaians miserably. Immediately after the violence, NDC officials started to propagate that it was a mob fight between NDC and NPP supporters, and the Interior Minister shamefully joined in and said that "violence begets violence". He forgot that it was his duty through the security forces to investigate the matter thoroughly and tell Ghanaians who did what since arms and thumb-printed ballot papers were confiscated from some people.
These specific crimes or exhibits could have led us to the real criminals behind the shootings and stuffing of ballot boxes. But our unprofessional police preferred to toe the line of those in power by claiming that they were going to prosecute ghosts rather than follow the available leads. In the recent suicide bombing that took place at a mosque in Kuwait, the security officers identified and arrested the owner of the car that took the suicide bomber to the mosque and followed it up with the arrest of the driver. From there, the investigations led to the masterminds and accomplishes of the heinous crime.
Why didn't our security forces investigate the leads or exhibits that could have lead us to the bigger picture, rather than glossed over them as if they confiscated the AK-47s, cutlasses and thumb-printed ballot papers from the air? Our security forces, like the government including Mr. Woyongo, are trying to generalize the issue and incriminate others in order to bury the truth between Azorka boys and Bolga Bull Boys, blindfold Ghanaians and cover the government's own tracks. Ghanaians deserve better.

Rawlings and his misguided, inexperienced "let the blood flow" chanting youth violently took over this country in the 80s and mismanaged it for 20years. The result was a Cuban-style communist dictatorship, economic stagnation, Rawlings chain" and abject poverty.
The so-called revolutionaries, who used to wear car tire sandals and condemned market women to death for petty profiteering, are now billionaires and cut-throat capitalists enjoying power and money fraudulently. Throughout the period of their dreadful rule when Ghana was properly called "ojah krom", they perpetuated the rule through gun and electoral malpractices. Unfortunately, they are the same group overseeing the sinking of this country today, and they will do everything in their power to rig the elections as usual in order to continue their mediocre rule, despite the fact that Ghanaians want them out.

Our experience with the quack communists relics is that, they seize power unjustifiably through coups and counter coups, and Ghanaians only suffer dictatorship, tyranny, corruption and economic mismanagement under them. Being in power now for seven years, NDC has again failed to improve the economy simply because their fundamentals are wrong. In fact, they don't have what it takes to salvage the sinking economy except borrowing left and right from other countries to further burden our economy.
Under normal circumstances, political parties are formed to produce leaders democratically. But in the case of NDC, a tyrant created the party with state power and resources to legitimize his illegitimate regime and cling to power fraudulently. NDC is therefore, an artificial and illegitimate party followed by stomach politicians
and sycophants.

Mr. Mahama and the NDC are not interested in priorities that would ease the suffering of Ghanaians; they are interested in prestigious signature projects for the enjoyment of few ruling elites in order to deceive gullible voters, regardless of whether the inflated projects are priorities and value for money or not. Does the NDC government think, despite the massive corruption, they can borrow recklessly and spend their way foolishly into another mandate in 2016, when the nation is over burdened with HIPC and workers wallowing in hunger and over taxed?
Governance under the NDC government is about deceit and 'opium of the people'; they enjoy everything here on earth but ask us to wait for our basic needs in heaven. And as they ask us to tighten our belts for future betterment, they've already loosened theirs for immediate consumption. They didn't even respect our intelligence when they asked us to wait for a paradise in three more years. The truth is that, everything they promise is a mirage and we will never find comfort under them because; they are con-men with con plans.

The smartest guys in politics are found in Npp. Really smart people. They were able to identify the appreciation of the cedi as bad economy and their dwindling electoral fortunes as progress. They lost an election and claim their votes were stolen but could not tell the world how many votes were stolen. They went to the supreme court and lost, but came out to tell the world judgement was in their favour. They were rejected recently in a by- election but without shame went out to tell the whole world that NDC has been rejected. I think these people are reading the political manuscript upside down. They are worse than illiterates. With these factual denials, it is just a mater of time before Npp slide to a third position as a political force to reckon with. This may happened next year, the year Npp would finally die.
