Now I really dont know why it bothers you whether I am called Peter, Esi, SAS, Mahmoud, Sarpong, Ama, Kwamena, Nii Lante or whatever.
I advise that you rather stick to the issues if you are a mature man. However, if you are looking for an opportunity to locate the persons behind the contributions on this platform, only so that you can put the issues aside and cause damage and injury to people whose contributions are against yours, it will not work. I know that is your stock in trade. Your paranoid mentors are now tapping even the phones of their staunchest allies. As Putin said the other day, western leaders have now lost their sovereignty and they now have to look around them to ensure that nobody else is listening, even when they are talking to their wives in their bedrooms.
In any case SAS, I really do not give a rats fart whether you are called Ho Chi Minh or SAS, so long as you sound sane - or even insane. How do I know that SAS is your real name or if you are not using another moniker like Mahmoud or Sarpong, since those who contribute with those apparently pseudonyms, sound just as depraved as you do.

The man diversified education and increased access. You are a product .Economically had he been allowed to complete his work instead of being sorry he would have been very proud.Nkrumah made the mistake of uniting the opposition hoping he would get some thing out of them .Even today they spew only tribal garbage without coming up with solutions .Can you the so called danquaists and Busiaists come up with workable alternatives to the mixed economy the he started with and which you shouted from roof tops as communism?Do we still need to at, clothe ourselves and have roofs over our heads .He was solving them but now we still import even tooth pick .Let us find solutions to these instead of vilifying him.Do you see us writing about Jb D and Busia? Today African Unity is a big topic all over Africa.INTEGRATION , they call it .So please come with SOLUTIONS

He speaks without data!
And, if still we must.....
Maybe a Danquah-Busia-Confederate traitor who believes in "property-owning democracy" will understand this one!
ITEM: Samuel Adjei Sarfo, Doctor of Jurisprudence, is basking in the success of the "Unitary Vision" of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.
Without Nkrumah's Unitary Vision and leadership success, where would he be, in education, in profession, even in health, and space?
But, to the extent Samuel Adjei Sarfo, Doctor of Jurisprudence, takes every side of every issue, it may be difficult for him to resolve, to solve the conflicts in his head.
So, here is some "property-owning" data our Samuel Adjei Sarfo, Doctor of Jurisprudence, and his Confederate Friends may understand:
ITEM: In six short years, between 1960 and 1966 (when Nkrumah was overthrown), the Gross Domestic Product Per Capita of Ghana increased 47%, from $181.00 to $267.00 (representing 7.83% increase each on of those 6 years).
Thirty (30) long years after the overthrow of Nkrumah, between 1967 and 1997, Ghana's Gross Domestic Product Per Capita increased just 80%, from $214.00 to $386.00, representing just 2.7% increase each one of those 30 years).
In effect, the Danquah-Busia-Dombo Confederate traitors are directly responsible for the Lost 3-Plus Decades", post-Nkrumah!

The appointment of the Judiciary is similar to that of the EC chairperson. The constitution does not give the president authority over the selection of this class of people in the system because; they are expected to be independent and impartial in discharge of their duties. If the president were to have substantive powers in their appointment, that would ultimately compromise the independence and impartiality that is required of them implicitly or explicitly. They are not in the category of his ministers or those in the executive branch where he has complete hire and fire powers under the constitution, and they are not expected to be independent of the president's decisions. Also, they leave office when the president leaves but the judiciary and the EC chairperson will remain after the president's term of office expires.
The issue is not the president being subservient to the judiciary or the council of state as some are trying to portray; the measures put in place are critical checks and balances to prevent the executive from dominating the other branches of government in the system, which if allowed to happen by given him substantive powers to appoint and fire members of the other branches, the situation could easily metamorphose into autocracy now or in the future. For instance, who will impeach or judge the president if he over steps his constitutional powers or commits a crime? It will definitely be the judiciary. And who will act as a referee between him and other political players during elections? It will surely be the EC. So the president cannot be allowed under the constitution to substantively appoint them.

Brother, thank you. People like Sarpong and SAS, who cannot think beyond their nose always seek to discuss topics they are less informed and spew insult when others try to correct the errors they make in their conclusions on such subjects. Really, this essay is not about NKRUMAH or Nkrumahaism. The arguments advanced by these two gentlemen are really an extension of Western propaganda that seek to tear Africa and its people apart. It is a propaganda war beyond the like and dislike of Nkrumah and beyond the political and ideological naivety of these two guys who claimed to be Danquahists. They have been bought into the world powers' propaganda without thinking and questioning to the point that they don't even realize that sometimes they write and say things that are even in contradiction and sometimes doesn't even makes sense intellectually. I don't normally response to the arguments that they advanced because of their posture of nailing insults to those they disagree with and second the fact that they lack the theoretical understanding of international relations and the geography and economics of Africa to the global powers. I don't know what they seek to achieve. Real scholars both in Africa and the Western world made such an attempt to cast spells on Nkrumahism but they were cut into pieces by their colleagues and Nkrumah's onwn academic work.

You fools seems to have not researched what happened in Ghana from 1964 to 1966 when Nkrumah did not have the money anymore.
Most leaders would have done the same, more or less of what Nkrumah did with the money he had at that time.

Dr. Samuel Adjei Sarfo's logic is without locomotion. It is a belief by rightist that there has not been any progress in nature and society, thus they say there is no evolution in nature and with such world outlook they stand like a frog in the middle of the river with their legs spread apart and shouting I have plugged the river.
Marxist political science said that the state is an undemocratic institution. The United State in which Samuel Adjei resides is the most oppressive state in the world that raise the state of being undemocratic by subverting even the right of people to life, the right to be elected and the right to elect your representatives.
Dr. Samuel Adjei the notion that Kwame Nkrumah was a dictator fall as a sack without a content, even before imperialist quislings like you goof out that word. Nkrumah did not come to power as a result of a military coup, nor was he an adviser to a military junta like Professor Kofi Abrefa Busia who supervised the caging of other Ghanaians and parading them on the streets of the major Ghanaian towns like a wild beast. Kwame Nkrumah did not order his fellow Ghanaian to be detained in a cell filled with water to his shine, but Busia gave that council and it was carried on.
When Dr. Joseph Kyerekwe Danquah lost fail to get elected to parliament Kwame Nkrumah your on democrat did not rejoice as Barack Obama still oversee the petty racial segregation policies under which Negroes in the U.S. on pension today receive less pension than their Blanco counterparts. Soon as Danquah lost his bid to parliament unlike Busia who saw to it that even his friends who got elected to parliament are thrown out for been a member of the Convention Peoples' Party before. Nkrumah called Danquah to his office and offered him the post of Council for Arts and Culture, which Danquah refused and rather went into an agreement with the Central Intelligence Agency to subvert the state Ghana.
Dr. Samuel Sarfo you even forget history that U.S. has not been a democratic country which it is still today. Slavery and racial segregation are not democratic principles, which mean, if we are to go by the U.S. constitution of 1966 a Negro should not own any means of production and distribution. It means that up to 1975 no Ghanaian Negro will own even a backyard garden, moreover a cocoa farm. We are as a people to ride in anything that the U.S. Constitution define at that time to be good for dogs and Negroes. Dr. Samuel Adjei Sarfo democracy is not some abstract animal hiding in the jungles of America, but is a collection of relations of people to each other and the means of production and distribution.
The basic necessities of man are food, shelter and clothing. Kwame Nkrumah by February 1966 did away with unemployment by setting up various productive and service providing institutions. Upon the advice of Busia and others tens of thousand of Ghanaians were send home depriving them of food, accommodation and clothing.
In 1969 Busia send a lot of Ewhes home without food, shelter and clothing and the same was repeated by John Kufuor who was a deputy foreign minster in Busia's government in 2001. It has also become a fact that in the British democracy a Negro is not allowed to drive a taxi in London up till 1975. Mr. Sarfo democracy is not an abstract hiding in the London Zoo.

When he promised us independence and freedom and justice, he delivered bondage and arbitrary power. When he declared Ghana a republic, he made himself an absolute monarch.
It is interesting that you can only cite evils in America to defend Nkrumah. What about citing some measure of good from somewhere to affirm some good he did if any. Why must it be all bad acts which you are quoting. That simply means the man was bad but with reason.
Whenever you have to cite wickedness from elsewhere to defend somebody, that means that person is per se wicked. The good is oft described by references to a greater good elsewhere.

I have only four words for those block heads and brainwashed people like you...
Dullard, dunce, stupid and silly are the words that describes you best.
Tell me where we've reached as a nation since his (nkrumah's) government was toppled by a senseless and greedy soldier man.

Let me make it here, the Europeans were sent to Africa by their Kings and rulers in search of gold and other raw materials. This is the main objectives for the scramble in Africa. The first Europeans who arrived in the Gold Coast were not here for humanitarian purpose but for economic exploitation. When the Portuguese arrived at Elmina, their main interest was to deal in gold and other spices. When the news reached Europe, many kings and rulers over there sent their best commanders, merchants and soldiers to come and struggle for their share. We still have living testimony of how many different European castles and forts sit on our coast.History will tell you how the Europeans were agressive and fighting each other to settle here.It did not stop there, many got involved in slave trade.Surprisingly, when the Europeans decided to stop the slave trade;we had some Ghanaians who were not happy but wanted the slave trade to countinue. Some chiefs even sent delegation to Holland to reactivate slave trade. We should remember that the British were the last Europeans who visited our coast and bought castles from different Europeans who were leaving because they could no longer trade in slaves. The British changed their traitional trade in slavery to gold and other products in the country. What we must know is that some of the coastal chiefs agreed with the British to continue trading for 100 years contract, beginning from 1844.This agreement is what propelled Nkrumah to lead a peaceful struggle to attain independence for Ghana. Now listen, the British did not renew their 100 years contract with the coastal chiefs and rather decided to colonised the country. On legal grounds,we can say they have invaded our country because we did not ask them to come and rule us in the first place. Therefore,it's only logic that after 100 years they should go or stay as ordinary traders.Kwame Nkrumah was 100% right to decolonise the country in 1957.The colonial masters also shackled the people with Constitutional Monarchy, that means Ghana has become a bonafide property of the Queen of England, the monarch. It's also illogical to become independent state and still be a subject to the Queen of England. From this point of view,Kwame Nkrumah demanded a Constitutional Refrendum in April 1960,where more than 88% of the electorates voted in favour of Presidential System. That is the reason why Ghana was declared a Republic,no longer part of British Kingdom but a member of British Commonwealth. The 1st July was also the same day that Kwame Nkrumah was inaugrated as the first President of Ghana.Ofcourse, there were some opposition to both independence and republic status of Ghana and we still have some elements of opposition for whatever reason I don't know.My question to the opposition is that, how long do you want the British to rule Ghana?Thank you.

What has your rambling got to do with the fact of Nkrumah's dictatorship under a republican government. A republican government vests the power in the people; it does not replace one monarchy with another. Before Ghana became "a republic", the Brits owned the country. Thereafter, Nkrumah owned the country; so when Ghana became a so-called republic, the people owned nothing. They only had one constitutional monarch replaced by an arrant dictator.
The only difference is that the dictator was one of our own who said he had come to liberate us. He even dubbed himself our Messiah!

Dr. SAS, Attorney at Law, BOY KOFI's was no "rambling".
That was a history lesson showing why Africans must be independent, precisely the way Kwame Nkrumah saw it when he was alive!
Further, it is important for all of us Ghana-Centered/Ghana-Proud people to explain in clear terms what occurred, and is going on still. After all, the NLM-NLC-UP-Danquah-Busia-Confederate cohorts destroyed so much of the records. They lied, cheated, and subverted the People, and continue to do so.
READ: "....A republican government vests the power in the people..."
WE SAY: True! But, it does not end there. Otherwise, you revert to a Confederacy, or worse, anarchy, for theory's sake.
REPEAT- It does not end there!
ITEM: It is the leader of the country who, together with his/her team, and other representatives in government including the "opposition", must lead the task of prioritization and execution of national development goals and agenda.
Nkrumah saw the effort as a "Reconstruction", after independence. There was important work to be done.
But in order to prioritize a national development agenda for "reconstruction", you need patriots and Nation-centered/Proud team players.
The Danquah-Busia-Confederate cohorts, having lost against Nkrumah "Unitary" government model, were none of that - no Team Players, or Patriots.
To the point, the Danquah-Busia-NLM-UP-Confederate cohorts subverted the Ghana development agenda, even before 1957, and thereafter, all the way to the "overthrow" 1966.
ITEM: Danquah was imprisoned because he was a traitor and a subversive. Busia was not imprisoned because he escaped overseas and continued his subversive activities, until he was brought into Ghana by the NLM/NLC rascal military junta that overthrew Nkrumah with the blessing, advise, and assistance if the US, UK, and France.
Those are the facts at bottom of Ghana's "Reconstruction" tragedy!

And Nkrumah was overthrown in disgrace because he thought the way you now do. He dubbed others traitors and imprisoned them without trial while others fled into exile to plan his overthrow. In his last days, he was all alone by himself with his asinine ideas without a friends and family.
And his story is what we are now telling: asserting that he was a dictator!
Now the remaining work for us is to desecrate his name and his grave so that our children will learn the truth about his dictatorship.
And to this, we will forever commit ourselves.
