All that some of these party fanatics know about is to stir the pot and create needless tension in the community! Look, this Okyeame may have been carried away, but what`s to be gained by this agent provocateur by engaging in this kind of posturing? What is he really going to do, if the Linguist does not comply with this 'foolish' ultimatum?
Who is he gunning for here; Nana Tepahene or who?
This sycophant should give his head a shake and find something worthwhile to fill his time!

Mr Eric Nana Agyemang Prepeh, first, could you stop using the title Honourable if you are not an elected member of Parliament. Everybody and anybody in Ghana use the title honourable. A District Chief Executive should not be referred to himself as honourable, let alone a former.
Second, though I agree with you that if what you claim the radio station reported and attributed to the Tepa Linguist is accurate, then, it's very unfortunate but not unusual in Ghana where traditional leaders usually support the president/government of the day. They sing hosanna, hosanna to him and as soon as that president is out of power the same hosanna, hosanna becomes the chorus for the new president.
Notwithstanding my agreement with you, I wonder on what authority do you make the order or demand below? I quote, "I, Hon. Eric Nana Agyemang Prempeh, I’m giving the linguist a 24 hour ultimatum for him to retract and unreservedly apologize to the Tepa Traditional Council, all citizen of Tepa, the Asanteman as well as all Presidential Candidates who would challenge President Mahama in the 2016 general elections".
Are you in a position to order the linguist and will your order be carried out by the linguist?

All-die-be-die mock exercise at Kyebi; NPP supporters go bonkers
“the NPP supporters, led by a sub-chief, blocked various entry roads to Kyebi, the hometown of their flag bearer, all in an attempt to prevent President Mahama from entering the town as part of his campaign tour to the region”.
This is a quote from another article:
Some non NPP residents in Kyebi reveal Nana Yaw Boakye organizes NPP youth to intimidate, vilify and in some cases attack known NDC supportes in Kyebi because according to him, “so far as he remains a chief in Kyebi and Akufo Addo his nephew, NDC will never know peace in Kyebi and other parts of Abuakwa”.
After these incidents we all heard Nana Yaw Boakye on air, whiles President Mahama mentioned it in his speech on the day.
Were you in Ghana at the time? Did you see anything wrong with that? What did you say or write?

Don't be silly and don't be ridiculous. It is high time some of you stop playing politics with everything at the least opportunity.
Libation pouring has always got a tone and format which asks for blessing from the gods for our august visitors and to ask them to wade off harm from their enemies real or perceived.
These are mere mantras and anybody who plays politics with this traditional style must be an enemy of our culture. In all libations in most cultures that is the standard approach.
