It is not her age though still a juvenile under our culture but the fact that she is still at school and obviously still under the care of her parents.Knowing the nature of Ghana politics where money plays a huge part, what becomes obvious is that the resources of her father has been used to buy her a seat in parliament.I don't know what discussion she had with the father for not waiting till she completes her education before giving her this present. What it reminds me though is the Biblical Salome and I wonder whether it was a promise that must be fulfilled since the father is a man of substance and goes places.
For those who don't know the story I am alluding to must read this. But on Herod's birthday, the daughter of Herodias danced before them: and pleased Herod. Whereupon he promised with an oath, to give her whatsoever she would ask of him. But she being instructed before by her mother, said: Give me here in a dish the head of John the Baptist.
I hope she did not ask for this as a birthday present because they will realize as a family that they have bitten more they can chew for exposing the young lady to the rough world of politics too soon.

Almost every ghanaian politician and US politician spends loads of money to campaign and win elections

all our parliamentarians MP's behave like toddlers, think like toddlers, however, I must insist that this young lady is simply a showboat, never once did i hear anyone say she was even an intern under some seasoned politician from her high school days.i believe NPP wanted to change or preempt the script to draw attention to themselves regarding 2016, in spite of the numerous debilitating activities they have found themselves in. my question is how much worse can she perform or lack thereof, in comparison to the current crop of old farts? leave the young lady alone, perhaps it is a good idea to allow our youth to partake in internships for political office this way, because our greedy and impotent pompous crop of sitting MP's are all toddlers.

Left for you alone parliament should be the preserve of your grandparents. 'Don't hinder the youth to come to parliament for theirs is the future of the nation.'

So who is stupid here now? The one who created the criteria for qualification to contest or the one who did the vetting or the candidate. Was she qualified before she contested or she was favoured. Fools and fools!!!!!

If others have made it at age 19, why can't this smart and enterprising young lady go to Parliament at age 23, especially if she has beaten her competitors in a fair and clean race? Come to think of it, most of the grey haired idiots there do not do a damn thing for their constituents or Ghana, for that matter.
Britain's youngest and best ever Prime Minister, William the Younger went to Parliament at age 20 and became Prime Minister at age 22, and that was in the 1800s!

Parliament set the qualifications and the rules. The lady played by the rules and won, and yet you are crying foul.
And by dint of what historical fact do you conclude that age has anything to do with wisdom, intelligence or even experience?
What has this parliament done to convince you that its work is beyond the scope and ability of mere toddlers?

The fact of the matter is that Francisca following Kwame Nkrumah's foot steps. She started by building an office for NPP in her constituency.Nkrumah also built Ghana National College from his own pocket money even before he became a Prime Minister.Francisca, has promised to dash out 3 months salary if elected into parliament.Kwame Nkrumah refused to collect salary as Prime Minister and President until he was ousted. This explains why Kwame Nkrumah won every election against his opponents in any elections.Francisca is on her way to make history like Kwame Nkrumah because she has got the secret of making effective campaign.I hope politicians will learn how to serve humanity and stop seeking their selfish interest.Thank you.

If intelligent experienced adults continue to spend time propagating their views on the internet instead of testing it at the ballot, then Parliment will continue to be filled with toddlers after all they are the worst affected by reckless policies and laws enacted by so called experienced adults. Continue with your personal views which have never been subjected to a vote before. All politics is local, not global on the world wide web. Shame on you all.
