What happened in Accra last week was a man-made disaster. Why? Why was the area flooded? If the gutter or the waterways are clear, will the floods etc happened?
Kufuor gave the Odaw river a clear waterway but it is chocked with silt and debris and since NDC came into office, they have never distilled the Odaw and if heavy rains set in, where should it go?
It is painful for people to lose their loved ones or die horribly like that but the onus fall on the door steps of our elected officials who fear to act to save lives next time.
A Whiteman in Canada had waged a bet that what happened Accra will happened again because our leaders never learn and he is absolutely right.

Silt blocked the main drains and rainwater could not move freely and flooded the drains. Secondary drains couild not discharge rainwater and became choked and flooded Accra.
200 died out of this executive gargantuan negligence.
They chopped the money or they misapplied the money
For thisincompetence and insensitivity, Mahama must be impeached for this horrific error. The blood of the 200 dead has been used for Mahama evil sacrificial interests
