Any NDC fool who insults their opponents are appointed a minister. Yes, Ghana under Rawlings was a hell. Rawlings destzroyed Ghana in the name of a foolish revolution. Before Rawlings came to p0ower, Ghana was a functioning society. But because of envy and jealousy, Rawlings and his tribesmen came and killed innocent Ghanaians and destroyed their business. Kufour came and repaired and built the country within 8 years. Now within just 7 years, John Mahama has destroyed everything Kufour built. People in positions of power rely on bribes, engage in nepotism and favoritism because it's a cultural norm in Ghana. The people in media who are tasked with informing the public have been purchased by the NDC and NPP and thus incapable to investigative reporting unless against the opposition. People in communities refuse to report wrong doing to authorities because government agencies are compromised. We've become afraid to call neighbors out when they are filling gutters or drainage systems with trash even if their actions affect the health of all in the community.
Our brothers, sisters and others in the Diaspora have become indentured to money they have lost all principles and morals; making money through foul means have become the ultimate achievement.
Surprisingly and cynically we justify the overthrow of Nkrumah because he dared to implement a system of government not approved by our colonial masters even condemn his tools to combat acts of terrorism by the UP/UGCC even now when his tactics have become the effect tool for the Western civilized nationsin their fight against terrorism. Let's face it we do not know what we want in Ghana; we've become followers seeking to blame anyone who dare to lead us.

You are now repeating exactly what Rawlings and his "let the blood flow" misguided, inexperienced youth of this country said years ago. They claimed that our older leaders had failed and they took over the country in the 80s and mismanaged it for 20years. The result was a Cuban-style communist dictatorship, economic mismanagement, Rawlings' Chain" and abject poverty.
Those revolutionary youth who were wearing tire sandals and condemned market women to death for petty profiteering, are now billionaires enjoying power and money fraudulently. And throughout the period when Ghana was called "ojah krom", they perpetuated their rule through the gun and electoral malpractices. Unfortunately, they are the ones overseeing the sinking of this country today and they will do everything to rig the elections and continue their mediocre rule, despite the fact that Ghanaians want them out.
Believe me; suggesting that the "youth" should take over the running of this country again will not fly.

Greece is more developed and is on the brink, but Ghana has more issues that are basic in nature (schools, homes, etc) and a system that hasn't hasn't benefited from the penetration of knowledge to the masses in order for this same public to make the informed impact needed on government to make it act right.

The judges think they have the knowledge of the whole country, thus are are a law to themselve. cases taken to courts are never resolved-some of them until the litigants die.
