Do you think that is what the VEEP position is about? he is in no competition with Bawumia as the writer would want us to believe. Bawumia is just a running mate to the opposition leader and has the luxury to run around talking sense and nonsense. It's akin to saying the President must talk whenever Nana Addo talks. it's simplistic and childish. There are timed in my life I wish I had not spent a day in any classroom seeking knowledge of the kind that enables one to engage in logical thinking processes and the acquisition of analytical and evaluative skills. One of such times is now; reading this posting by Dr. Addo who to put it mildly is adept at intellectual dishonesty and illogical thinking as the unsophisticated street fools we have in Ghana and elsewhere. There are bound to be arrogant and classroom educated fools in any society but a well disciplined and polished organization with best practices and principles would not allow for the Hannan Tettehs of the world to throw their literal and figurative weight around; it only takes an incompetent and disorganized parties like the NPP and NDC to have anyone with gutter level mouths to figuratively show their ass at party functions and at national gatherings.
Yes, to say Hannah Tetteh is arrogant is mild but she does not have the corner market on arrogance and stupidity. Most educated Ghanaian especially the political elite class are plain dumb to sit around and allow Dr. Bawumia to throw his nickel and dime understanding of economics around in Ghana. What most economists from developing nations of the world, irrespective of where they were educated but even more so with those who did get their advanced degrees from nations practicing free market economics lack is the correlation between culture, governmental systems and true economic outcomes presumed to be derived from free market principles that Dr. Bawumia and others preach. Amissah-Arthur may or may not lack confidence; he only knows to play the political game in Ghana that has become a conduit for every idiot in Ghana politics to get rich, enrich family and cronies for life even if the rest of Ghana stay poor or die of unnecessary diseases and preventable natural disasters. This is Ghana and it does not take a ditch digger to know Hannah-Tetteh wants power in an NDC party full of uninspired brains with classroom earned degrees trying to beat out an equally dumb NPP party. All in all we asked for it in Ghana and we are living what we asked for; let’s enjoy.

One thing you should be mindful of in today's politics in Ghana is that Mr Amissah must have been chosen to reflect ethnic diversity of the party for votes and not for his knowledge of economics.He believes in everybody's ablity to do the work he or she is assigned to by the president
