U either did not read the article or u are too daft to appreciate the issues raised. Kofi tried to meticulously draw a distinction between war and conflict. he provided insight to the fact that even if the ya Naa died in war, the mutilation of his body amounted to war crime. How is this beautiful and straight forward write up mislead anybody Mr drop out?

Ferdie your written English stinks as bad your logic and you had better do something about it instead dabbling in matters that are beyond your reach.
As far as I am concerned, Kofi Ata just exhibited himself as just another sickening example of the (mis)educated African.
This article appeared to have been put together only as a show-off piece to either prove that he Kofi Ata knows a smattering of law or that he, sitting out there in the racist confines of Cambridge, by that assumed reference of superiority, knows more than the said Justice Appau who is a proud Ghanaian living and working in Ghana for the betterment of Ghana.
Kofi Ata can in no way, therefore arrogantly assume to be more qualified to comment on pertinent local issues of which he is not privy to the grey areas and details of. We do not know of Kofi Ata’s pedigree in matters of local jurisprudence but we know and can vouch for those of Justice Appau.
Reading about an issue from afar - and from a mere newspaper article, probably reported by a junior journalist and ‘conveniently’ edited by another presumably senior journalist, may have its drawbacks, distortions and loopholes. To stand on this premise to make judgemental criticism of the subject matter, as Kofi Ata did, is the prime mark of an illiterate mind.
Anybody who insolently assumes that a judge who has had a long experience on the bench and has risen to the Supreme Court through many years of hard work and practice can cursorily overlook sensitive details of such a case and thereby risk his integrity and reputation, is himself suffering from some kind delinquent impetuosity.
I admit that I myself do not know zilch about imperialist law but common-sense tells me when a war is a war in the Ghanaian setting and besides, every kind of war all over the world does not have to conform to what English people or imperialist English law determines or interprets to be a war.
If you disoriented Africans out there in the UK know what a war crime is, what have you done about Tony Blair’s role in the Iraq war for starters? What happened to the same English law that supervised slavery, colonialism and the uncountable instances of genocide, theft of natural resources and tyranny that went with it for many hundreds of years?
Why dont you house-niggers out there just shut up and stand up against the rampant racism that you suffer from daily without having the guts to do anything about?

In Ya - NAA murder, the commander in chief of the ghana armed forces failed deliberately to use the vastly superior force at his disposal to prevent mass murder. His attorney general also willfully failed to put a convincing argument in court, just like judgement debt cases.

Abudus know they cant withstand Andanis in any war for an hour. If Abudus are men, they should try anything silly now. We the Andanis will not use NDC as cover to perpetuate criminal acts as they did with the support of NANA ADDO as Attorney general and his hack-man Malik as the interior minister. The truth is that, Abudus used NPP to carry out the crime thinking that it would help them gain accesse to the trone. 14 years on who is the king?. Get yourselves off the way. ABUDU gate is finished. Mark my word.

"It is high time Ghanaian Judges are honest to themselves and the nation when they lack knowledge in some areas of law rather than pretend to know it all."
Yes, they don't know zilch! They are lazy, uninspiring, lethargic and too often very stupid and would never admit the fact that they're handicap in the field they project to know so much about.
He should have asked Hackman Owusu for the video of the events leading to the death of the Dagbon overlord.
Prior to NPP winning their first presidential elections, they promised power takeover from the Ya Naa. This explained the plot and how the security lied to everyone nothing was happening in Yendi when the telephone lines were cut and the roads blocked, preventing anyone from going there until the death of the Ya Naa.
Further, it also explained why certain people danced in public with the bones of the Ya Naa and overtly said NO ONE could touch them otherwise, others would fall. This explains why those who really killed the Ya Naa would never be jailed. NPP would crumble like a pack of cards; it will take down everyone.

Are you surprised at the judge exposure of his own ignorance on the subject matter?. This judge goes about boasting about his handling of the Ya Naa case any time he gets the list opportunity. Even in drinking bars he is always boasting about it as if it is the highest case he ever presided over. The sad part of it is that, any time he explain why he left the criminal off the hook one wonder whether he is really a judge. The last time i encountered him in a drinking bar after he got toasted small , he started discussing the Ya Naa case and mentioned that the whole incident was orchestrated by the then opposition NDC to disgrace the NPP which he (Apaw) will not allowed to happen. He further disclosed that he was a UP person but always mistaken as an NDC because of his former cadre status.
The truth is that he dealt with the case with a political lens. This explained why he has never made sense any time he explained why he discharged the criminals. He himself is a criminal judge.
