I have been wondering why Rockson would not organize a formal legal protest to the verdict Otumfuor gave, if he still thinks it is unfair to Kumawu? After all, Rockson has rejected the suggestion that Otumfuor's verdict is irreversible, since no one is above the Law.
So, why doesn't he have the Courts decide, instead of taking to the Public forum to insult the Asantehene? I initially harbored some sympathies for Rockson's cause, regarding the Kumawu dispute. But his approach for Justice has cast some mist over the issue for me.
I hope he would change tactics to court more sympathies, and earn further appraisal of the dispute.

If there is anything to this Article that we should seriously learn from, it is the suggested corruptibility of our Judiciary.
The disappearance of vital evidentiary documents from Court files and prosecution records is not new in Ghana. Such is what doomed the attempts to bring to book the culprits in the Ya Nah Murder case. When that happened, many well-meaning Ghanaians became concerned and challenged our Judicial system on the validity of such a verdict that set the culprits free on technicality, based on such disappearance of documents.
Unfortunately, some citizens, possibly, including the Author of this Article, wasted no time in trashing those who questioned the Judiciary on such loss of evidence. These citizens have always seen the Ya Nah Murder case, among similar high-profile ones, as a partisan issue, and ridiculed the current Administration and many who sought for Justice in the case.
Now, we see how what is good for the goose is also good for the gander. In a much more crucial vein, however, we should push the Judiciary to prevent such disappearance of vital Court documents. Officials of the Judiciary must be liable for high penalties, including Jail terms, for colluding in such schemes to deny folks Justice. If any prosecutor ever pronounces in the Court such loss of evidence, that prosecutor and his or her team must all face immediate trial for denying folks and the Nation Justice.
It could well be stated, then, that 'Justice' in Ghana could be bought at various levels. Prosecutors, Court Clerks and Prosecutorial Administrative Assistants could all be manipulated to either hide or destroy vital documents needed for fair trial. And the Judges could also be part of such schemes as well by quickly using that technical error to dismiss cases.
This is the shame of our fallacious presence of 'rule of law' in Ghana. It makes mockery of our Justice System and tacit accomplices of our Lawyers in the Ghana Bar Association who just sit aloof about that trend.
In this day and age of Digital Data Storage, it should never be an excuse for dismissing any case that some Court documents are missing. It is ridiculously ironic that Ghanaians, including our Lawyers and Judges, would claim all kinds of sophistication typical of these modern times, and yet succumb to such low judicial vulnerability precipitated by primitive levels of securing vital documents for fair trials.
