Contrary to what some party stalwarts are making the world believe, the NPP is in quagmire. Their leadership have their heads buried in the sand.
They must accept that the NPP is currently dysfunctional. Emergency meetings can be called by the vice chair, but as a courtesy the chair there should be alignment of thought. There should at least be a prior discussion of the serious issue not only between the executive but also with all who will be attending so relevant input could be sought from constituents. But it appears there are a group who see themselves as elite and have all the wisdom.
The case for the chair to be involved is because whatever decisions are arrived at he will have to implement them.
If the general secretary is around then he should be allowed to carry out his normal function and not be sabotaged.
Most strange and serious of all, it is unsettling that Kwabena did not receive support from the executive in his bereavement. You have party functionaries running to peace fm etc but nowhere near Kwabena. Shameful.
