This report is weird, for an organization formed to "defend and promote the rights and freedom of the media and of expression."
We understand the case about the "blackmail" by the journalist.
However, we do not understand how MFWA jumps to guilty for all the other cases simply because a government or another agency organized by a government finds a journalist guilty of breaching the law.
How does MFWA know all those "violations", or some of those "violations" are not violation of ethics, compared o violation of law?
So, if Mugabe's regime charged a journalist for violating the Zimbabwe Freedom of Information Bill, will MFWA add that case to their list!
Come on, MFWA!
Did MFWA review all those cases to ensure the agreed with the charges?
