No!
They do not have resign.
But they cannot do that on the public's pesewa.
Nor can they use public resources, such as cars/phones/, etc. they may have in their possession.
Nor can they compel or threaten student to partake, nor punish them for not partaking!
If any Professor did any of those things, they must be sanctioned by the appropriate authorities.

Richard doesn't really believe they SHOULD resign; that's a subtlety. He is just being sarcastic about the fact, and I think he is right.

These lecturers want to eat their cake and have it.As educated men and women, they need not to be reminded of the conflict of interest in which they have engaged themselves. They should have known better, but as usual all these NPP elites reckon ,they can always have it both ways because they are entitled to.They basically do not need a law professor to advise them on their greedy, selfish and arrogant decision to double dip. These group must be told clearly that, they are not above the law.

It is rather unfortunate as regards what these NPP lectures are trying to do.One would have thought that, having been well educated and know the implications in their reckless and useless and diabolical actions, they would have thought twice before coming out. A careful investigations into these group will tell you that, that wannabe so called lecture of political science,Amoako Baah, who said he can do a better job than Dr Afari-Djan as the EC, is solidly behind this lunacy. Ghanaians are not worry that, their irresponsible behaviour will boot out the ndc from power, but the repercussions on academic works and students who are at the opposite side of the divide. The writer as well as well meaning Ghanaians have said it all. They should just resign their posts and campaign for the NPP. It is their right. But it should not be done whiles the tax payer is paying them. I don't want to imagine how none NPP student sympathisers will be graded in their exams. I cry for the future of this country.

"Having been well educated..."
Classroom rote learning has nothing to do with refined precepts of tradition and basic intelligence we all have. Those guys know exactly what they're doing and it isn't funny.

NPP will continue to make wrong decisions bcos of the burning of markets etc. until the kapwepwe is thrashed in 2016.
Affirmative action stupidty, Nana Addo seeing nothing wrong with the devilish statement of Osafo Marfo statement and male shd NOT contest a sitting MP with huge buttocks are all surprising nonsense from the dwarf.
Can u imagine some top brass military and Police declaring support for a party. Can u also fathom Water Company engineers in Ashanti reg declaring support for NDC and Ashantis at risk of water poisoning ? Have u now realised how desperate, stupid and foolish NPP are ?

Reading some of you sometimes kind of props my flanks some good way despite my utmost conviction everything/ endeavors, et the all ceteras right now in our country is on their way to perdition.
You see, there's so much to talk about concerning politics but it always feels like a huge waste to me in a country where every turns trivial, lethargic and perfidious.
Have a good day, and thanks.
