You are surprised that Mahama's appointees are arrogant?
Wait! People who have an entitlement mentality -- which is what most NDC big men are, not having ever achieved anything independently of governmental or public office -- are like leopards which cannot change their spots. How dare anyone have a contrary opinion to them when they have been ordained to dictate to others? Murtala is only an extreme example of the entitlement class; others, like Ayariga and Barton Odro,
are equally impervious to public opinion.
All that they are doing is to drive their party into the wilderness and enhance the chances of the party's enemies. If they cannot disagree with courtesy when their own people express a different opinion, then how can they behave otherwise when it comes to the national level? Mahama and his clique are a national disaster; a Northern calamity; and NDC abomination. Even Jerry Rawlings who formed the NDc thinks so. Otherwise how could he have invented a hateful term like "babies with sharp teeth" to describe them?

Since when did work in progress and being upbeat become enviable achievements? Fact is, NDC has lost already, but these rented press are just throwing up some dust in a bid to keep hopes alive

If elections and or appointments were based on humility and wisdom would anyone in Ghana make the mark?
Can the editors at Al-hajj name a handful of our political and or intellectual elite class who came into politics rich and did not need government money, perks and or the influence peddling that come with it? Do they not leave office just as arrogant as can be? Yet I am sure the editors can name a thousand of the very elite group who came into politics poorer that church mice but left with money falling out of their proverbial pockets and ownership of many properties to boot. What has any of these acquired riches by foul means got to do with arrogance you may ask? Well we know in Ghana even the tramps who end up dating these corrupt and contemptible politicians as side kicks become arrogant by association what would ever make them think and act the way if there is an ounce of humility within those politicians from the get go. Is it not arrogance that would make politicians call for the abuse of citizens and residents alike based on tribe or party affiliations?

As a fool soldier yourself, you should have rather embraced this observation by the Al hajj in good faith and offer solutions that would help curb this canker that is fast eroding the confidence we have in our young ministers.
