WE HAVE LIVED TOGETHER PEACEFULLY UNTIL THE USELESS NDC PARTY WAS FORMED. A PARTY OF POOR LOOKING FOR RICHES OVERNIGHT. THEY WILL DO ANYTHING TO WIN POWER.
''We have been vice presidents for far too long, it is time you make ONE OF YOUR OWN President.'' - John Mahama.
WHAT ARE THE REST OF US TO JOHN MAHAMA?
WE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEM.
THE USELESS NDC PARTY IS TURNING ONE TRIBE AGAINST ANOTHER
TURNING ONE RELIGION AGAINST ANOTHER
THERE WAS EVEN AN ATTEMPT BY ATTA MILLS TO poison football clubs with politics just for the SELFISH INTEREST of the USELESS NDC PARTY.
Everything that unites us as a peaceful nation is under attack by the USELESS NDC PARTY. Before they divide Ghana and leave us in shreds VOTE THE USELESS NDC PARTY OUT IN 2016.
We have lived peacefully without any TRIBAL OR RELIGIOUS POLITICS before the USELESS NDC PARTY WAS FORMED and their manifesto signed with blood. We don't need any division in Ghana. WE ARE INTER-MARRIED, AND WE ARE ONE PEOPLE. NDC IS DANGEROUS, VOTE THEM OUT IN 2016.
(GB3M3I KOME TOO DZI WO. GAM3I NY3KA NYI3AA AM3S33. NDC NFEE NY3 BULUU, NI AM3 NSHI NY3 Y3 OHIA MLI.)
An advice from a sensible GA who can read through the lines.

If any Imam visit you outside the country, watch how he preaches. Those outsiders, at times, have Bin Ladin sense of thinking and you should be careful. If you love Ghana, report such people to the appropriate authorities for quick action.

You have proved people who see this kind of attitude as fundamentalism right, haven't you?
Bear in mind that some of us are not afraid of those stupid threats.
Bring them on, if you are a man and you will be met head on, you moron!

Look even though if your claim that the Bible has been manipulated is anything to go by, the Bible doesn't admonish its adherents to kill Muslims unlike the way the Qur'an is commanding Muslims to massacre Christians, Jews and other non-Muslims.

Issah Imoro, were you referring to my article which appeared on Modernghana on yesterday and on Ghanaweb today? I ask because you quoted the title but attributed it to one Kwaku Otoo.
If you were referring to my article, did you read "Hijab Campaign: Responsibilities Beyond the Veil by Abdul Rahman Alfa Shaban that appeared on Ghanaweb yesterday? If not, I quote from that article as follows: "The hijab is an important first step and trigger. It can make or break a long walk to assert rights that we have hitherto not exercised. The bigger picture however is recognition of religious freedom".
The above quote confirmed my suspicion that there is a bigger hidden agenda by those who are behind this campaign to practise their form of freedom of religion.
As for the Supreme Court petition, I am not sure if the Supreme Court is the right place for this matter. There is no disputes over the right to religious freedom enshrined in the 1992 Constitution. What is being disputed is that some Muslims are claiming or complaining that they are unable to exercise that right. If that is the case, then the appropriate place to seek to assert or seek to exercise or enjoy that right is a lower courts (from the High Court) and not the Supreme Court. For this reason, I believe the Supreme Court will not hear the petition but refer it to the High Court.

Muslims should use Mecca money to build good schools for their children. Those against missionary schools should rather advice the government to stop the Makaranta form of education since it is a breeding ground for raising terrorists. Why do they envy Christians. Is it because christians have chosen to invest in formal education and Muslims have rather chosen to invest heavily in tourism to Mecca? Stop the nonsense. This is the attitude that collapsed secondary education in Nigeria. In Nigeria today good secondary schools are found in Christian dominated states like Kwara,Plateau, Edo, Ondo, Ekiti,Lagos, etc. Any other good school you see is either owned by religious bodies or private individuals. This came about due to this same agitations about Muslim rights in missionary schools which forced some state governors to confiscate all missionary schools within their domains and renamed them after Muslim leaders. Today those schools are pale shadows of themselves.

Thank you Issah for your expressed opinions here on the controversial issue. While you disagreed with others you also at the same time have exposed yourself how much you're ill-informed about tolerance, dialogue and ecumenical principles. The Catholic Church initiated all these principles and implemented them since 1965, with Muslims and other religions. Tolerance, dialogue and ecumenical sessions have advanced world peace, and in particular Ghana. Where's the reciprocity from Muslims and respect for these gestures by Muslims to Christians? There's a mosque in Rome, and in some Christian schools places of worship for Muslim students. Why not same for Christians in Libya, Tunisia, Egypt, Saudi, Yamen, Syria, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc? If you believe in achieving peaceful coexistence amongst Christians and Muslims, you didn't have to demonstrate and worse, go to court! You should first appreciate how Christians have tolerated, supported and treated Muslims in this country before asking for more from them. In short, you pay them back with ingratitude!
