Why should politicians be restrained in what they say in public when they preach to listeners being groomed to be a generation of political idiots?
While it was refreshing and an honest response from an NPP representative, Hon. Kyerematten, it does also reveal a built-in problem of multi party political system in a nation where best practices and procedures of democratic governance are misunderstood and concepts of matured leadership foreign. It was true then and hold true even unto today that political parties in opposition minority parties see in themselves as spoilers and not constructive or contributory to the well being of the nation. A one party system resolves this issue that seem to be unique to a nation yet to reach political maturity; multi-party politics is reserved for the matured at heart and thinking not for a nation of unprincipled and tribal zealots. There is nothing that stops us from going multi-party once we reach political maturity; we are not yet there and it shows in our numerous failed attempts.

The callousness of the NPP most often beats my imagination. They care nothing about the hardships of fellow citizens, only their selfish gains.
