Am just hoping this will make a difference. Even if this "we are dying" signal will be so strong, I doubt we will get any decoder to receive it. It not that the government doesn't care, the speed with which it tackles that matter is heart breaking. How could this dumsor torment us for so long and your short term solution be, almost three months in the future. Do you know the feather damage you would cause. It obvious that the government is even avoiding the devastating effects of this canker by refusing to supplement generating capacity. We should by the fuel and not the government. It a funny but very Ghanaian-defined politics we have in our country. Just need you to shout loud Wongborians, very loud. Someone should hear you.

The fact of the matter is when Kufuor disposed of the Osagefo barge under mysterious circumstances to punish one man's farsightedness this is what Ghanaians will reap.
If you are shortsighted, NPP and half literate you may blame President Mahama.
But hey I like you annecdote, that is why govt. in a democracy is both NPP and NDC in parliament. What is been done in fact by all parties in parliament because it ia a national crisis.
Yes, to demonstrate is also OK but once to sent a message to politicians I support it but not when it becomes a campaign tool for the NPP.
When KT Hammond brought the proceeds of selling the Osagyefo Barge on a flight in a suitcase and in his own words handed raw cash to Kufuor at the CASTLE, the then seat of govt. what did he do with the cash and how ciuld that have benefitted this country GHANA.
If you do not know today the world's tankers are massive and fir one to dock at any of the harbors or ports in Ghana it wil block everything we know about international trade, exports like cocoa etc and imports like second hand clothing and even rice will come to a halt.
So then here comes the genious of the one man Tsatsu Tsikata's OSAGEFO barge which will receive energy; oil/gas at high seas and link it to thermal plants in Ghana. That way these massive tankers do not get closer to our ports to shut down port operations and business in the name of power.
Today we have dumsor because of this, the next stage under the Tsatsu GNPC was to look into cheaper and sustainable sources of energy and there were various options under his sleeve but the guy was jailed friviously he almost died in Prison like his compatriot Mr Francis Selormey.
So let you not be deceived about demonstration and I insist it should be the last otherwise it will only be seen as a campaign apparatus by the NPP.
