One duty of government is to ensure there's "real" accountability and transparency and everyone is dealt fairly with regardless of who they are and who is in power. In the USA, if a person's income is $5, 000 each month, any check that is deposited in your account that exceeds your regular income will be investigated before the check is cleared. Every additional income must be reported to the IRS for tax purposes.Failure to do so can result in a jail term. Why can't we do same here? Even issuing social security numbers and a credible photo ID for every citizen has been stalled for many years. What's going on Ghana? We are watching people become millionaires overnight. No legitimate questions are being asked and no one seems to care how the millions are made. What a country! Every one is corrupt, from the president to the village post master. When oh when?
