YOU NPP PEOPLE TALK TOO MUCH. WHAT YOU SHOULD WORRY ABOUT IS THIS: THE NDC CRIMINALS WILL RIG (OR TRY TO RIG) THE 2016 ELECTIONS. HOW ARE YOU 'TOO-KNOWN' NPP PEOPLE GOING TO STOP THEM?? OR WILL YOU AGAIN SIT DOWN LIKE DONKEYS AND ALLOW NDC TO STEAL THE ELECTIONS AGAIN?

Paul, the 30% is interest rate, not inflation rate, as accurately stated in the article.

Kwabena, thanks for drawing my attention to my error. On the other hand, the interest rate is NOT 30% as reported here, but rather 23.48% (Bank of Ghana's own daily rate reported for 16th January 2015).

Between 2002 and 2014, the interest rate has averaged around 16.68 with an all time high of 27.5% in 2003 and an all time low of 12.5% in 2006.
The writer suggested that the value was around 25% during the Kuffour administration but has shot up to 30% under the current government but the facts do not bear these out.
I prefer us to put forward our arguments and points based on fact and am happy to be corrected at any time. Sorry i mis-reported the inflation figures as interst rate figures.
I also hope you will correct the error in the headline figure of 30% which is much higher than what has been quoted by the BoG and others (e.g. Trading Economics).

Please check your facts. The latest figures suggest an annual inflation rate of 17, not 30% as you suggest. Propaganda can only take you so far, but can also make you appear uninformed and a laughing stock at times.
