Alhassan, you've made some good points to encourage the youth to get involved in the socio-economic development of their communities and not to sit on the sidelines. However, I disagree with your analysis and rejection of the role of the elderly in the development of our communities. It's not so much about the youth or the elderly; it's about people understanding their individual responsibilities in their families, communities and the nation as a whole. Some of the youth you're referring to are as tyrants and incompetent as some of their elders. And more importantly, we need to establish workable institutions that will ensure that public officials are held accountable for their promises and actions.

Of course the youth should get involved in national development, and I note that this Thursday the president is due to inaugurate a National youth Organization although I have absolutely no clue what these youths are going to be doing. I hope they will LEARN to be good citizens and hopefully future LEADERS for our development.

Let all take a cue from the words of the youth who can go as low regardless of pride, sit with the youth, mobilize them nd also get to know the challenges of the youth as a result take on a proactive steps to resolving nd bring hope to the community of nima.
it is a call to all the youth of nima to give a chance to sum one who will have them(youth) at heart nd recandle the hopes of the indigenous people of nima.
A society or community without a youth , is imperative similar to a community without future nd hope, let give a chance for new innovative nd brilliant ideas of the youth.
the time is now or never, my candidate opinion is for us youth to take the challenges of entrusting the leadership mantle in the hands of a youth.
