Do not quantify a woman's honor in terms of how much of her own skin she has exposed or else you fall into the ways of the Pharisees.

I entreat every decent christian to join churches such as Deeper Life who have managed to uphold the sanctity of the church and are a source of pride to our Lord and savior.

hello Patrick, when i read articles like these it always reinforces the reality that the christian church is an intolerant, sexist institution and cannot be the representation of a universal god but rather of a palestinian deity preferred by backward and ignorant people.
Anyhow patrick, you need not stress out any longer, after all the "word of god" ie the Bible has all the laws and regulations that prescribe good conduct of women in their lives and in the church, it tells them how to dress, when to speak or not to speak at all etc. it surprises me that christians living in this world who benefit massively from secular developments especiallly in science and technology and more specifically in democracy and human rights desire the primitive and worthless edicts of the bible???? women must always be reminded of their place and supposed inferiority in the chruch, at home and in society. Patrick why dont you transport yourself to the old testament world of the jews and live the miserable and backward laws of moses and his deity yahweh maybe that will be sufficient for you. You will realise how primitive and useless Yahweh and his laws are. like i always say to my christian friends who complain about the way women dress " if you dont like dont look so you wont fall into "temptation".

You guys are hypocrites: Kwadwo, Bad mouth and the rest. Patrick was specific on the area he was discussing. His subject area is the church not the entire society. so where is the anti-feminism sentiments expressed? the church has rules like any other institution in the world so ladies should go by it. there is no primitive tendencies attached to this. If you like go to GT Bank or Fidelity Bank or Newmont Gh and tell them i will dress anyhow and come to work..hypocrites. It is also hypocritical for you guys to say that you feel comfortable when a lady has dressed in an amoral manner showing her breast, thighs, G-string etc in a church service. "if you dont like dont look so you wont fall into "temptation"...immature answer. Where is the Pharisee thing in this, Dr. Sas, read the write-up well, he did not devalue women but spoke against the trend which is rather devaluing women.

Less than a 100 years ago (and still in parts of Africa including Ghana), women in much of sub-Saharan Africa go about with minimal clothing, breasts and buttocks exposed. No one found it lewd and men don't go abt having hard-ons upon seeing them.
It is Christians and Muslims who have sexualised scantily dressed women with their perverted minds and ideas. It is them who have made a fetish of women's legs, thighs, face and breasts. As for the Muslims, the whole of a woman's body must be hidden from public view in some black garment!
With what we now know about the falsehood upon which these Adamaic religions were based, it was high time all sane and rational thinking men and women confront them head on.
Anti feminine trash I say.
