I wonder what the theories of Miller & Modigliani, Black and Scholes and the rest are doing here. There is nothing in this writing that relates dividend payment by GSE-listed companies to firm value. The conclusion itself contains nothing to show what was done in the article. This is what they do with the "Research Allowance" for which they go on strike every year - clipping pieces from here and there, summarizing and calling it "conclusion".
