First, what extraordinary achievement has Akufo Addo not been able to play in Ghana's advancement and development during his youthful time that at the very old age of 72 by 2016, he has a new magic wand to make Ghana heaven on earth.

If Nana genuinely believed he had been a success and not a failure as the benchmark he set for himself, he would not be desperate to lead his party let alone the Country at age 73. Nana has lived most of hhis youthful and adult life in UK, a Western and developed Country yet, behaving as the typical and primitive African dictator/autocrat.

Youthfulness does not always triumph over its older competitor. If it were so the results of football matches would be more predictable, always in favor of the team with the younger players . Germany wasn't the youngest team at this year's World Cup but they became champions of the world because of their tenacity, talent, cohesion and technical superiority.
This nation's economy is on a fast downward spiral and we'll soon hit ground zero. Its future is in a quandary because a younger upstart was able to hoodwink the nation into believing that its prosperity lies in the hands of a younger president.
Outside the endless assortment of armed robberies and pen robberies, price hikes, dum sor, extreme poverty, disease and squalor, poverty, unending workers agitations and strikes, etc, you'd think the administration will not spare any effort to reverse the trend of affairs. Instead, if you're NDC PRO in New York, you get irrational as you think and soliloquize about the crassly chaotic, incompetent and corrupt NDC administration, you begin to digress. You do so to avoid talking about the real problem of the administration's inability to govern appropriately and you allow the conversation on real issues to digress into endless and fruitless rant about your opponent's age and his ability to govern because your mind is on auto-pilot. The old argument must be re-invoked to hoodwink the people once again. It was never about incompetent Mahama's competence then and so must it be now. The age argument against Nana was an absolute fraud foisted on the unsuspecting public to solicit their votes for the incompetent and corrupt but younger Mahama. Time has proven the age peddlers and pundits wrong.We have seen it all and no amount of persuasion or even coercion will succeed in fooling the people any more than they already have. Lawrence Appiah-Osei can not deceive the people any more than they already have been. In politics competence, confidence, wisdom,vision, experience and strong moral character always win, regardless of age.
