These guys came disguised to unleash a dire desire to fill pockets in each and every way ..... after the previous govt was noted for turning "classmates" into instant millionaires and property owners.

Corruption will not stop in Ghana or in Africa in general, as long as we have brainless poor unemployed university trained illiterates whose well being depends on political parties and politics. Political parties are the biggest employers. The leaders of the parties are themselves poor and the only way to amass wealth is to play the tribal card and pitch the poor in the society against the hard working members of the society and demonise them. The party leaders do bribe their zombic followers with billion cedis of tax payers money to entrench themselves in power. The present wannabe president played the tribal game plus the tax payers money and got away with it. So long as we have dysfunctional judiciary, the corruption will be with us until the end of time. We will have Tsatsus, Peprahs, Woyomis, Adamses, Rawlingses,Kuffuors, Mahamas etc, etc, etc. They will live with us as the honourable members in the society and throw their weight about, but all said and done, they are criminals, lethal than ebola who have denied and still denying Ghanaians their basic needs;- health, education, shelter. Our fathers, mothers, sisters and brothers are drinking water with animals from guinea worm infested lakes and rivers. Black man is going nowhere because he is mentally corrupt, selfish, tribalistic and backward. He is his own enemy. God saves mother Africa and takes us from darkness to the light. Africa is crying out for leaders like Dr.Kwame Nkrumah, Nyerere, Kenyatta, Sekou Toure and all those who laid their lives for our freedom so that we could live in dignity. Ignorance is the bane of our problems. "Many of us have forgotten where we have come from". Wake up people,- the world is not waiting for us- Nana Egyir Aggrey Snr citizen

One way to fight corruption is to considerably reduce personal interaction in many of the daily activities and services delivery. To do so, we need to invest in the technology. In the UK if you require a visa to travel to Ghana all you have to do is to go online to access the application form, complete it and pay for the visa fee and submit the form on line. You receive an email informing you when it would be ready to collect.
If you import vehicle into the Ghana you are at the mercy of the customs officers. I should be able to go the the Customs website, put details of the vehicle and taxes and duties are given, and payment made on line. The money goes straight to Government coffers and no "Wahala"

And Alex I like your idea and that's what is done in every part of the developed world. Our people knows it but because of their dubious ways they are not ready to do that. You will think someone from the presidency or IRS will come out with such a noble idea.

The USA and some European countries have started legalizing marijuana and other hard drugs. Maybe, Ghana and some African countries will some day start to legalize corruption.
