It is impossible to see how Nana can win third time round given that his popularity in the wider Ghanaian population has sank further.Even a 100% vote of support by the NPP's Party faithful would not be sufficient to get him elected.HEREIN LIES THE DILEMMA FACING THE NPP. NANA AKUFFO ADDO HAS WITHOUT A DOUBT SOLID SUPPORT WITHIN THE NPP BUT HISTORY SHOWS THAT THIS ALONE IS NEVER ENOUGH TO WIN AN ELECTION.IT IS FAR MORE IMPORTANT TO CHOOSE SOMEONE WHO IS MORE LIKELY TO GARNER VOTES OUTSIDE THE NPP.
