There should only be one primary to elect a flagbearer. If the contestants are even 10 it can still be done. There will be only two that always get the votes. Waste of money and resources. Cutting down cost and making our processes better should be our hallmark. Primitive ideas. Cutting down to five. Give me a break. Stupid.
This makes you conclude that the main intention is to disrupt any hope of 2016.

no chance for nana no matter how well his name has been marketed . i think Alan and Nana Konadu have better chances winning or beating mahama than any other on today's political horizon . nana can never beat an ndc led candidate now as he lacks the strategies , platform and logistics to do so . this govt is performing abysmally yet nana has not been able to assert himself as a viable alternative other than his please like me stance . he has not been able to put in simple words proven solutions to the problems we have today which is a sign he doesn't have the backing of the true stakeholders of the land . he belongs to a minority group within the Akans and has not properly reached out to the majority being the Fantis and Ashantis , experience has taught us when this happens the govt often turns out to be willful and ignorant of the concerns of the silent majority . i could give out a list of over 100 points which prove why this time nana can never win these elections , no point in supporting a loosing spent politician who doesn't have the good sense to know when his time is over .

Nana should retire for Alan, as Alan did for him in 2007. He tried twice to beat President Mills and failed. Tried with Mahama and has failed. It's just right to allow someone else to try too.

How can EC organize elections for NPP. This should be a simple manual ballot counting exercise involving only the NPP. EC? Do you guys have brains. The only conclusion is to disrupt NPP chances for 2016. Blame President Kuffuor. He only started talking when his stooges were in danger. His continued silence makes him the MOST SELFISH LEADER.

The current animosity or whatever one can coined it, rests on the head of Kufuor. Why? Yes, ask why and here is the answeer. Kufour ruled for eight years with Alieu Mahama as his vice right? Yes. Was there a time he signaled that his vice was incompetent? No. Now, imagine he died on the throne, who will be sworn in as our president? His vice isn't it? When his time in office ended, why didn't he throw his weight behind his vice but chose Alan Keremateng rather? He could have told people that Alieu had been tested as vice for eight years and can lead the party to victory and that will clear the veil off peoples eye that NPP is not for Akans only.
That is where all these troubles in NPP originated. I know some will dispute that as plain nonsense but let use commonsense to reason. Even if Kufuor did not like his vice to lead the party in the next election, he could have remain neutral but throwing his support to Alan Cash was a dirty slap in the face of Alieu Mahama because others saw Kufuor of being tribal and want his people to always lead the NPP. That is pure hypocritical and an insult to those in the North. That is my opinion though because I could not see any sense why Kufuor took that path knowing too well the rough weather that awaits the party.
Kufuor's dislike of Nana dates back to the election that saw Limann becoming president. During that election, PFP was split when Afrifa and co formed UNC denying Victor Owusu the presidency. That is where all these problems started and Kufuor could not let that go off his mind.
As we speak, had he held any press conference calling for calm in the party he once led as president? We are yet to see or hear him saying anything to let cool heads prevail.

Ironic that the NPP party that apply used car salesperson tactics to bamboozle voters into buying into their hollow democratic values do want a limit to democratic exercises because of cost. Yes I know some would refer to practices in UK and or the USA as the gold standard to democratic practices and procedures to guide a quick run of the NPP delegate vote this time around.
I find use of existing practices and procedures of other nations as gold standard for Ghana to behold to be either unintelligent and or incapable of understanding processes of human growth and development. There is no current system of governance on this globe that cannot use improvements to existing practices and procedures. If Ghana truly want to be the best democratic nation to date it cannot do so by limiting its values and standards to what goes on in a foreign nation as the glass ceiling for us. The fight for the leadership of a party hoping to carry Ghana to a promised land is not a fight that must be short circuited because it is convenient for some; it should be a fight for the best minds the nation can afford. NPP cannot look to the inner workings of a failed NDC animal kingdom as Ghana's gold standard.
